Miyajima.
The final layout in our online model rail exhibition is inspired by the Japanese island of Miyajima, featuring the Itsukushima Shrine recognisable by it's giant orange Torii Gate offshore, and is made using the Beachcomber track plan from our website.
It's spring in Hiroshima Bay and the cherry blossom is blooming. The island is awash with colour and outwith quarantine, visitors flock to the five-storey pagoda and Himeji Castle aboard the Bantan Line commuter train which links the two landmarks.
The music is Arirang Blossom.
