  • What does it mean to "establish the work of our hands?" Moses ends his psalm with this statement. This video encourages you to think about your own legacy. We all want to leave something of value to this world. What did Moses leave?
This is the last video in a series on Psalm 90. You can see others in the playlist on my channel site.

I read this verse and it’s been stuck in my head. I keep repeating it to myself and when I read it and encouraged me.

Thank you, Jackie, for this explanation. I've been praying this prayer for a while and I decided to search on TH-cam and ended up finding a song "Establish the work of our hands" and your video as well. I'm glad God put you in my path through this message. Please pray for me as I journey with God. Love, Maggie

Praise God for wisdom and strength through His word! I therefore bind one to desire to establish the work of one's hands in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ while binding to hell every lack of desiring the work of one's hands to be established, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone not desiring to establish the work of one's hands or not desiring the works of my hand to be established, praise God for strength and opportunities to work our gifts and talents, in accordance with this word and psalm 90:17, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

I asked God to show me if I'm doing the right thing by waiting and pursuing this woman of God, that same night I had a vision of light coming from behind this house and it seems like that light had personality and was from the Lord and I thought of the number 90. Which i felt led to read Psalm 90 came to verse 17, I was blown away. It seems like God was giving me the go-ahead.
However, things kind of seem whacky lately. She loves me but because of past ungodly relationships, she does not desire relationship or marriage anymore. She believes its God will for her to be single. Its so wierd because i aligned with her past prayers and her with mine. Maybe i misunderstood God’s word. Maybe i should stand in faith and believe God would heal her heart.
    Any advice????

sorry for the long delay. Maybe you have resolved this already. I personally don't think we can trust our thoughts and ideas and dreams; look at Hebrews 4: 12; the Word of God judges our thoughts and ideas of our heart. so we always have to go back to the Bible to confirm any thoughts. God lets us make choices about who we marry but also gives guidelines. Perhaps your friend has not experienced the whole forgiveness for her past through Jesus Christ's death. You can wait until she is 'healed' or move on . God may be protecting you from a difficult marriage with someone who is struggling with guilt.
