I hated this storyline about the eggs. It was pointless, because it didn’t lead to any happily ever after for Nick and Brooke, and it ruined any happiness for Taylor yet again unnecessarily related to Brooke. Brad Bell seems hell bent on making every woman suffer in the name of Brooke. It makes no sense, especially when you look at all the trifling mess Brooke has done in the last 30 years, always calling them “mistakes”. Taylor and Nick were good for each other and had great potential to be a strong couple on this show. I hate how they constantly tortured Taylor to make Brooke shine. Even though I hate what Hunter Tylo did to her face, these older episodes have reminded me of just how much pain she had to endure..... and she started out as such a strong breath taking beautiful woman, reduced to a cartoonish character. I already know when this soap ends, Bell will allow Brooke to ride off into the sunset happier than anyone else, and I honestly think most longtime viewers are just tired of her!! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

Now he's making Brooke appear as a hero, but she hasn't selflessly withdrawn afterward to give Taylor and Jack the chance to develop a relationship. She had to torment her day after day. It was horrible. And you're right, that's how I see Brooke at some point. Fortunately, I hardly watch today's episodes anymore, because Bell will make Steffy suffer again.
