I'm not enjoying Elden Ring and I'm 2 hours in. I really like Witcher and God of War, so I'm going to try to play Elden Ring again. But I dunno, so far it's not gripping me :(
@@self-righteousideologue9398 It took me awhile to get into the Soul games but eventually it clicked. May not be the case for everyone. If you want it to be more like God of War you probably won't enjoy it. Recommend you reduce your armour weight so you can be faster.
@@self-righteousideologue9398 those games you listed are kinda hand holding games not being mean. elden ring just throws you in and doesn't tell you anything about the game so if your new it's a learning curve
as someone who only started playing halo when infinite launched having a video like this is super useful for ppl still relatively new to the series. thanks for posting!
I love these videos. This is the kind of videos which shows who is just good at the game, and who is a beast. The consistency, the strategy, the positioning, the rotation, the spots. This franchise is not only about the aim, this franchise is a piece of art in the competitive scene! Keep it up Lucid, you are really keeping high the quality!
This was SUPER insightful! For anyone else who found this helpful, Above Average Cody also has a few videos for grenade-placements on a few different maps.
Super useful and I hope you continue this! Even as someone who plays at a decently high level I still didn't know about quite a few of these line ups, I've mostly just been chucking my nades on feeling and knowing from practice when they'll explode after a bounce. But now knowing some lineups for tricky spots like caution corner hopefully this will help!
Awhile back, probably close to a year ago you reviewed a viewers game, I believe he was a diamond player. Would be cool to see more of this style video, maybe for low onyx reviews, tips on gameplay, positioning ect
These videos are incredibly helpful. Nades are something I've been wanting to get better at, and you broke this down perfectly into specifics I can practice.
Thank you for continuing the breakdowns! Really appreciate the effort put into these. As you mentioned, would love to see more like this covering other maps, and maybe even a bit more on the positioning and set up work especially when you’re trying to claw back from getting hammered
Thank you Tommy, always good information to have from the best ✌️ Honestly, any video you do on break downs or tips etc is going to be gold, so once again, thank you 🙏🏻
Great job on this series Lucid! Doing really well, thanks for sharing and all the work that goes into it. Could we get a possible update on PC build, monitor, peripherals? Also current in game settings video & controller? I’m sure a lot of people would love to see this as well. Thanks
Awesome video! I suggest doing a pro setups and nade spots video for each map first and then possibly come back to each map to go more in depth and maybe add some starting strats, I thing that would be interesting. Thanks for all the great educational videos.
great vid for this specific map I think these would be great for all maps! i will be directing my viewers and VoD reviews to content like this if they haven't seen it already as coverage is something people don't really focus on this at lower levels.
Fantastic video bro. So many players respect and look up to you. This vid will make a huge diff to many people - even just as a starting/reference point. I hope you feel the effort you took making it ws worth it, because even though you might not get the feedback, it will help a lot of people improve. Great work man. Kudos and all the best for HCS season 2 TW
Best tip ever for anyone reading this: when its not going your way, slow down. You can usually tell around just after mid game if youll lose or finish with a bad game. Slow down to try and minimize your CSR point loss. Just slow down and sometimes if you slow down, youll play better, youll turn it around and can even win the game with a decent KDA.
No, I hate when people start only playing KD and bait their teammates the whole time. It makes everyone else’s KD worse and minimizes your chance at winning
Hey Lucid I just started playing Halo Infinite again. Been playing like crazy, was wondering if i can play with you one match. I work in IT now so i work from home a lot which is nice gives me more time to play Halo :)
Truly amazing!!! Thanks for the awesome tips. I would love to hear any expertise The King Of Halo has to have on any board or subject on Halo!!! Thanks again
I’ve gotten to onyx every rank reset. These tips are still helpful but sometimes you just can’t beat bs team balancing and ping. I went from onyx 1524 down to diamond four due to playing with other onyx players and just getting super unfair matches. (My max rank has been 1650) Like I would play with them and lose every game down to diamond six then I would play alone and win every game back to onyx which made no sense to me. If I’m playing with my friends and we’re all high skill with good coms we shouldn’t literally lose over 5 games in a row when it’s designed to be “50/50” we should be dominating if anything. The ranks ranged between 1500 and 1600 so no different than say a diamond 4-6 team so getting matched with 1800-2000 players was pretty frustrating. I got down to diamond four because the lowest possible ping I could get for atleast a week was 60 and I was lucky to get that. Most of the time it was 80-120 which is hardly playable. My skill hasn’t changed and certainly hasn’t gone down I just get punished by 343s shit servers.
On the flipside, you can literally face an entire 4 stack with comms, whilst your team are all solos. May as well just quit if you see this and nobody on your team is using a mic, because you're going to get stomped. Halo 3 did not allow stacked teams to face solos in ranked like this. Massively unbalanced.
Hey lucid been watching you for about half a year now and I’ve really learned from you, definitely seen myself improve so thank you and keep up the amazing content appreciate you 💯🔥💪🏻
As requested at the end, how we "feel about the series." I for one appreciate them very much and I am eager for you to make more. If that's sufficient, then you can stop reading there. However, if you care, here's a little backstory: The last Halo I played consistently before Infinite was Halo 3. I play the campaign for 4, but I couldn't get into it as I was starting a family. I completely missed out on 5 (I'm told I didn't miss much as far as campaigns are concerned). My stepson was about nine when Halo 4 came out, and that's where he really fell in love with video games. He plays Siege competitively. I lost a lot of edge between then and now. My kids are old enough that I have some free time again and I am REALLY loving getting back into Halo. But I just am not able to compete like I used to. I lost a lot of momentum, got rusty and have a lot of cobwebs to clear. These tips and tricks are super helpful in bringing me up to speed on how the game works, as well as solid techniques. When I watch these and practice, I gain that knowledge, and I get a little bit more of my lost edge back on top of it. I'm getting my younger kids into Halo now, too. My oldest is now 11, and she and myself have a blast playing together, and I am having fun grinding through ranked. These are giving me my edge back and re-igniting my love of video games. It's more than just tips and tricks for me. They're genuinely helping me have fun and enjoy doing my own thing now that my days aren't just work and kids and work and kids. So genuinely, thank you for doing these. They're profound and impactful for me, personally.
A pick is an opening usually referring to getting a kill. Kinda like in sports when someone gets a pick for a teammate it gives them an opening to make a play 🤝
Can you do more ingame break down videos? Where you analyse a full game on what you did, why you did it, what you could have done differently... etc. ?
I’m trying to catch up on PS5 titles like GOW and Last of Us then I watch this video and I’m getting anxious to play infinite especially recharge since I love that map
Lucid ralking about getting information for his team about locations and health of enemies, but all we ever hear from him in game is: "sigh... Why does everyone have shields" Great video, tho, love getting to hear the ideas behind what I'm watching.
I like Infinite ok (when it works), but I find grenades are thrown indiscriminately because they don’t damage allies, whereas as older Halo games people had to think about when and where to toss.
They damage allies in ranked. Lost count of the number of times I've had my kill stolen by an ally who has naded my coordinates and killed me in the process giving the enemy a kill they didn't earn instead of getting a betrayal. Very infuriating. You have to watch how you throw your nades in ranked.
S tier content, keep it up 👏
