    Hey mate, great video, you got a sub from me.
    Just brought a vorza s Buggy today, i havent been into RC since i was a kid, a rather poor kid, about 30 years ago.
    I was looking at the suspension and thinking, This cant be right, the arse end is significantly lower then the front end.

      Yeah I couldn't tell too much without looking at some pictures. But you may want to check your spring rate tension and also the shock oil. There may be some differences there

    Not hating but nope for that price don't know why if u had a choice you would get this over a typhon awesome video as usual

      No hate taking it all! When I do my final review you'll see some of the good and bad points that I'll point out about this compared to some of the buggies of today especially the typhon☺️

      @barbedwirerat661 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, at first look, for the price the Typhon 6S looks better equipped, overall better value. It will be interesting to see how the driving experience compares.
      I would like to say that the Vorza S buggy with the 4mm 7075 chassis could be a more robust basher than the TLR Tuned Typhon RTR, but then it isn't clear to me if the Vorza S aluminum is regular 7075 or the stronger heat treated 7075-T6 that is used in the TLR Tuned Typhon.

    Lmao dean's can only be run on brushed cars? I wouldn't go hooking 4s batteries up but 3s and 2s are fine. I have room full of older 4s and 6s capable rc cars with deans.

    Looks Good sir! Question:
    What weight fluid will you put in the shocks?

      @kevinconway6749 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the shocks are set for competition racing. You will need heavier if your bashing.

    If it's anything like the previous model, this is going to be a good truck. Another good unboxing👍

    I'm neither here or there on adjustable turbbuckles, all I know is on my old Vorza Flux the turbbuckles were way off from the factory. Adjusting isn't necessary for bashing as long as it's durable, and if it's something that can be adjusted, it also means over time it can come out of alignment.

      Also I'm still sticking to the idea that if HPI makes a 7075 chassis for the Vorza 3.5 I will get the 3.5 and swap over my upgraded old model vorza front and rear clips over to it.

    Look like the motor mount is set up like the motor mount on the Traxxas sledge

      Yea hpi has had this design for over 10 years. Traxxas has copied them on this

    I like it alot, looks kinda cheap but i would put some diffrent wheels, like hoons or like the arma Typhon TLR tires on and a front bumper guard / defuser in the front, the deans though need to go lol asap 😉 😆 but id take a RTR tlr typhon over this any day, i cant wait to get one of those

    I remember when hpi came into the rc scene. My brother was heavily into their touring rc and still might have it in the garage.
    HPI please come back into the fold.
    By the way this was a great unboxing review. Subscribe.

    I understand you cant put a larger pinion on the truggy, because their is no more adjustment movement on the motor mount. As the mount is slide over away from the spur gear as far as adjustment allows, due to the slotted screws in the underside of the chassis having no more movement available. You have to gear up by fitting a spool for more speed & not by a simple larger pinion, dont know if this is also the same on the buggy version ?

    • @barbedwirerat661
      @barbedwirerat661 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are on the right track, you have to change that center diff spur gear to a smaller tooth count to make room to run a larger pinions. Stock Vorza buggy (original and new version) run a 48t spur, 15t pinion, and you can go up to around 18t on the pinion with that stock spur. However, HPI has 46t and 44t center spur options to allow you to fit larger pinions. The new truggy runs a 50t spur stock and 15t pinion, so yeah probably not much adjustment left to get larger pinions on there without changing the spur.
