I just had to comment on what YouSurf said. Last summer, when I went to Kazakhstan for the Arnau concert, I met Marat Aitimov, who taught Dimash at the Aktobe Music College. To settle this question - is he originally a tenor who extended his range lower or is he a baritone who extended his range higher- I asked him about Dimash’s early teen years, whether he trained Dimash as a tenor or a baritone. Without missing a beat, he answered immediately, tenor, absolutely tenor.
Regarding Dimash’s songs in English: the very first one he sang was Show Must Go On, on Singer 2017. His English consisted of a few phrases at the time so he learned it phonetically. Still I admire the voice, art, and showmanship and forgive the pronunciation mistakes because I can well imagine how I would sound if I were to try singing in Kazakh. The next one was Adagio, also on Singer 2017, an absolute marvel! On the same show he then performed All By Myself and a Michael Jackson tribute. Later songs include Hello, the Lionel Richie one; Screaming (premiered as a music video, and then performed as variations upon it, the best one being his performance at Idol Hits); Restart Love and When I Believe in his mini-musical Phantacity; My Heart Will Go On; and all his later fast-paced songs: Lay Down; Give Me Your Love; Golden; and I’m sure I’m missing some...

Dimash in an interview with a Turkish blogger to a direct question about the length of his vocal cords confirmed that his vocal cords are much longer than that of an ordinary person. Well and yes, he said that he studied as a tenor. And yet he said that it’s completely human ability to develop your range 3 octaves up, and 3 octaves down :)

This was sung at the Kremlin Palace at an event for a famous Russian fashion
designer, hence the red suit with gold silk lining. The performance was a gift
from Dimash for International Womens Day, and it was between two of his solo

Its insane how he not only has complete coordination on the cricothyroid and thyroarytenoid muscles to go low and high, but he is appogio is crazy as well (notice how even when he knees, he doesn't press down on his ribcage and low abdominals) . Mastering laryngeal positions can also take years to develop since it is a reaction of the appogio (and not pushed) and you must breath a certain way to get the right positions, yet he does it flawlessly, even in the low position, (the hardest to abduct) he has the abduction and the correct resonance on the notes. Indeed 5 stars 🌟.

Greetings to the owner and guests of this channel …! And to all the personnel’s who worked with artists, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. My heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public.
“YOUR LOVE” is a piece of music performed by Dimash lately, who had shown to us again a unique and exceptional characteristics of Dimash talents and gifts, like the many other songs that he had previously, which I suppose contributes greatly to the music industry worldwide. Though he is not an English speaking artist, but in this particular piece, he delivers it so well, clearly and with life.
Physically in this performance, every movements and actions he had, speak to the heart of the listening public with a deep expression of the message that he would like to bring to his audience who listens it. Much more, he gives a full force of himself every time he performed his music. And if you reflect it more deeply, Dimash music does not only entertained but it is also full of meaning and its content brings a great message and deals about the realities of human life, of which I greatly and highly valued.
I don’t know exactly the story behind this song, but after I read its lyrics, I perceived that, it seems, it is a story and a journey of ups and down in a human loving relationship, which is a normal occurrences that could happen along the way, in any relationship. Our question is … How to persevere to live in it, in a truthful and faithful manner …? It is really a great challenge for many of us, most especially when the great tempest of life hardly hit in our relationship… I think no human being can… because of our weak and sinful nature.
Who can help us truly, in living out this human love faithfully..? I think no one … but I do believed ONLY GOD CAN … because He is the truth and faithful God Himself. If only people are open to his grace and obey His great commandments of love, indeed we can be truly happy in our relationship and our beloved as well. This is the great message that this song had reaches out to me. And it is just very much fitting to reflect on it… since it brought us a great message that challenges us all today, in a world , WHERE LOVE IS : so fickle, transient, deceptive, and superficial in nature. Because of this kind of love, many relationships are being destroyed and devastated: whether it is a friendship love or lovers or in a marriage love relationship.
    • For those imbued with the love of God in their relationship, they will always try to uproot any kind of wicked love they had, and pattern their own love to which is noble, true and holy according to Gods will and design. The test of time will always proved their faithful perseverance to live the truth and pure kind of love the best they could. Above all they are being strengthened to stand firm in whatever circumstances that comes in day to day life’s journey. This love is lasting and holy because it is solidly founded in GOD, who is HIMSELF the source of a true, real and lasting love.
In relation to this song which talks about LOVE and to DIMASH AS AN ARTIST. Just about 3 years after his performance in China on Singer 2017, where he got the 2nd place, I was just wondering, how it happened that in just a short time : DIMASH WAS BEING LOVE SO DEARLY BY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WORLDWIDE EVEN TO THOSE WHO JUST ONLY LISTENED TO HIS MUSIC. Maybe something more in Dimash and his music that we have to know and learned to. This is still the point that we have to reflect and discover in time, as the day unfolds with our journey with this particular young artist in this new millennium. Gratefully yours Ester Rabi, Philippines

All these reactors always comment on his accent and I don't understand why. I love his accent it adds colour to a boring language like English.
There have been singers over the years who have accents and you can hear it in their songs, yet no one complained about it. Dimash is not an English speaking native and I would guarantee that if anyone else from the English speaking countries tried to speak another language they would not be able to pronounce said language diction. Dimash does not need Americas approval to be a big star, he already is huge without America and the English speaking countries. I would suggest you all just sit back and enjoy this journey with this beautiful young man and stop complaining that you don't understand when he sings in English, that's why the internet invented subtitles, use them.......Oh and his accent is sexy AF.

@@ramseyvoicestudio me too, the English language is hard and in some countries there are certain letters of the English Alphabet that are hard to pronounce. As I said sit back, relax and enjoy this young man it will be a long time until someone else comes along that is anywhere near his capabilities.

Mira Petrella agreed! In truth I often get so caught up in his voice and the emotions he is relaying that his language becomes irrelevant. I speak only English and I get equal joy out of listening to him either belting out of my car radio (without subtitles) or watching his face when viewing his videos (even with subtitles) Dimash’s voice and emotive renditions alone transcend language barriers and should be enjoyed just as they are...perfect!

The mixed voice stuff Dimash does here is just so amazing. I can usually sing along to most of his stuff but this is just beyond me from the start. 11:38 that note is incredible, and incredibly hard to hit so beautifully as a man, with such power and projection. I have no doubt that was the hardest part of this song for Dimash

He is actually doing a surprisingly great job with his English pronunciation considering 3 years ago he knew only a couple of words and had to learn English lyrics phonetically. Kazakh (Turkic language group) or Russian (Slavic) which he speaks fluently too are both from completely different language groups opposed to English. There are nearly no similarities in the "sounds" whatsoever. It's extremly hard to reproduce sounds that simply don't exist in your own language. I know many people that speak a language grammatically perfectly have a huge vocabulary and great pronunciation but there are some language specific sounds where you usually can hear they are not completely right when the person comes from a different language group.
