For me I needed to get another job that paid more. I was a nurse in the NHS. This automatically meant 2 things.
    1) Destined to a life of poverty (1800 per calendar month)
    2) Retire at 67.
Fortunately I landed a job in finance and work my way up the corporate ladder.
Salary 2.3k per month after total deductions
    Retirement 55. (Well 57)

Thank you for sharing. Shame really that nurses remain poorly paid in the NHS.

Cheers. Absolutely love your content. Unfortunately the NHS is not a cash or income generating organisation like financial companies are so they can’t afford to pay their staff. For good or for bad that’s the reality.

How did you get into finance,do you have a degree in it.I am studying to be a nurse associate so life of poverty is a definite. However I am encouraged that I don't pay for the course.

Weren't there any opportunities to climb the nursing career ladder and earn more? 1800 is a 1st year newly qualified nurses salary in the NHS.

Anticipation that's the key. I have been implementing it since I was in one of your online workshops. I do exactly what you showed (18:00). My wife was hesitant when I suggested, (I took on board and spread around the house so she could see what I was working on)now she does for me and managed to reduce the expenses even more. You guys are doing absolutely great to many people. Thank Ken& Mary

Great video (as always) Ken 👍
Even with decent paying jobs, my wife and I have to manage our finances meticulously - to combat the effects of external factors like high interest rates, cost of living crisis etc.
Sometimes it feels like we are stuck in this situation. No doubt, as you said this is temporary and there is light at the end of the tunnel.
    God bless 🙏

Using cash is good but I use a current account with no overdraft facility and I get 1% Cashback on everything I buy. It soon tots up. The round ups automatically transfer into the 5.1% savings account. The thing with physical cash is if you are mugged or drop your purse, the money is simply gone. I love your videos keep it up!

Contentment is key, and contentment breeds more contentment. Thank you Jesus ❤.
You have to get gazelle intense, you can wander into debt but you have to be intentional to get out of it. My budget is easier now but only because I challenged myself to play the game of use it up, wear it out, make it stretch or do without. I will add that when you do without with gratitude God's blessings show up!
