I'm sorry but today's dance teams look more like an exercise workout class. Watch some of the classics from the 30's to 50's, that never gets old. I say this even though my granddaughter was a cheerleader 4 years and did gymnastics for 11 years now doing "Greek Sing" at Auburn, it's too repetitive. She is doing a skit like old time waitresses and a diner. Maybe if you had on costumes that were tux and dresses it would help give us a better look at it.
Hi Sherrie! With all this insight, next time I think you should come show us your moves! As the choreographer of this piece, I would have loved to have a black-tie dress code for my dance class. However, I have a rare skin condition which allows me to only wear certain fabrics, and none of which are present in tuxedos. This has caused me a lot of grief throughout my life as I have been called nicknames such as “boy who can’t wear tuxedos,” “ugly-skin” and “faggot.” Despite this causing severe bouts of depression, suffering, and doubts regarding my self-worth, I built up the courage to present my work to the audience of the Edge Dance Company TH-cam channel. But, upon reevaluation based on your feedback, I’m thinking of stopping dancing altogether. Take this as my official resignation from Edge Dance Company and the art of dance. I wish this class could have been up to your standards, Sherrie Adams. I will forever be disappointed in myself. Please forgive me. Before I die, I would be astronomically honored to produce something worthy of your approval, Sherrie.
@@Tony-lx7lr My LORD, what a drama queen! I was just giving my comment, everyone gets that right, don't they??? If I offended you "I'm sorry". I watch many young people dance now and no it does not compare to what I grew up with. I'm 69 so I can't dance anymore but the young people did a good job for this time period. Why didn't you single out the woman that said you were no Fred Astaire? I have nothing against you personally except you might need to see a psychiatrist if you really are stressed out as bad as you said from my comment. GOD BLESS
@@sherrieadams1253 Sherrie, Sherrie, Sherrie. Please don’t use the Lord’s name in vain. Aside from that, I deeply appreciate your apology. I live to please you, Sherrie Adams, so knowing I’ve done that brings me utmost joy.

You can’t compare Fred Astaire to a college dance team doing this recreationally. I think it is a great positive group of kids enjoying themselves.
