I’m not sure if you are looking for any other games to play on this channel but I think Red Dead Redemption 2 would be great. It is a prequel so you don’t have to play the first one. The setting of early industrialization and the closing of the frontier is cool. Obviously a fictional game but many details were heavily borrowed from 1890’s America.
For recruiting: set your pipeline to east Texas or in a Florida area. You’ll get more highly rated recruits. I one time rebuilt wake forest and had my pipeline set in Florida and we won a championship in 3 years. Now it’ll take looker for you but setting your pipeline in either region will speed up the rebuild
One tip for you on Defense- Watch what personnel your opponent comes out in and make sure you personnel match. I.e. in this game you’re facing a Triple Option team so the opposing offense is coming out really heavy, so you’d want to match that personnel and go heavier with your defense instead of going with lighter Nickel sets, which you’ll use more vs 11 personnel teams. Essentially: More than 2 combined TE/RB = Base (43 or 34), exactly 2 combined RB/TE = Nickel (42 or 33), 1 or Less Combined RB/TE = Dime or Dollar (41 or 32) Another thing that might help you vs some teams is setting an adjustment in the adjustments screen. Playing a Triple Option team is a lot easier if you set to go for the RB (or if you’re struggling with the QB then you can also set to go for the QB).
Random CFB History Fact: It used to be possible to receive or kick after being scored upon. Apparently, teams would sometimes choose to kick after letting up a touchdown, because the forward pass was risky and inconsistent, while the ball was oddly shaped and hard to hold on to. As such, teams would punt on early downs in hopes of capitalizing on a muff or great defensive play. Earlier still (pre-1903), teams that were scored upon were required to kick off back to the scoring team. This led to quite a few blowouts. I'm really excited about this! I know you really like soccer, but I always wanted to see you talk about football at least a little, so this is really cool!
My favorite part about your video is that you aren't interested in trying to make blind deep throws just to create content. ETA: it's if you're sprinting and you try to slide that it doesn't do it. Unless you're not holding RT while running, then I have no idea.
Ever thought of getting into the Assassin's Creed franchise? I think Assassin's Creed III in particular is perfect for this channel as it is set during the American revolution.
As a Michigan State fan I must say the jersey is pretty ugly! All jokes aside, recently discovered your channels (thanks oversimplified) and you’re exactly the type of person I wish taught my history classes lol
I know you just started this one, but man you should play Kingdom Come Deliverance in light of the new one coming out soon. Fantastic RPG Sim game rich in history/lore
my only recommendation is when you're a small school (and don't have the scouting discount abilities in recruiter unlocked), don't spend so many hours on scouting. I think it's better to spend more hours on more three stars to have the chance of getting more, better players in
Never thought I would see this crossover
Hey Chris just wanted to say you make great history content and it’s awesome to see you kick back on the Xbox!

Chris as the kids would say- you are cooking with the gaming channel content right now. 🔥

You can slide by double tapping X, also when on the dline move the left right stick to get off blocks. And maybe try to user a linebacker
Right stick*

Fun fact: the FCS East astronauts are based off a NCAA creator‘s dynasty team the Rocket City Moon Men
The creator‘s name is Not The Expert

Time to stock the beer fridge if I’m going to be watching football

“My people can’t tackle.”
Not “My guys…” or “My players…”, but instead “My people…” Sounds like Moses. 😂
Btw, your QB is basically Tim Tebow 🤔
Personally, before I offer scholarships i try to scout them to make sure they aren’t going to be busts. Go historians!
I know you just started this one, but man you should play Kingdom Come Deliverance in light of the new one coming out soon. Fantastic RPG Sim game rich in history/lore
Love how you anticipate the defense you’re way better than me what playbook are you using?
Would love to see u play football manager!
