His father leaving him with his mother may have enough to fail him. I've witnessed kids believing one parent over the other and not being open to that relationship over what they've been told. Only to find out 20-40+ years later the parent lied. Sometimes kids are conditioned to not give the other parent a chance. Sometimes they hurt from how one parent treated them and can no longer trust. His father should have stayed active though it may be hard it would have avoided the abuse from his mom.

No other video on this channel have hit me the way these teens have hit me. I respect you for the compassion, care, and concern that you show to both Emily and especially Josias and how you really do seem like a big brother to Josias. I work with troubled and non-troubled teens, and you have to be a very special person to be able to deal with all that comes with dealing with this age group of young people because they are finding themselves and just trying to figure life out. They are going to make mistakes just like the rest of us have done in this life. None of us are perfect and know it all. We live and we learn (some never grow up no matter how old they get) and if we can be a sounding board and help someone along the way then that's great.

So many have walked past these people and just passed judgement without knowing the things that contributed to their situation. Granted, some things have to be taken with a grain of salt but the fact still remains, there are contributing factors.

Josias is a kid who unfortunately went through some difficult situations (although it hasn’t been explicitly stated). He may be lying about some stuff, but the lies are told to cover up a deep, ugly and hurtful truth. It’s heartbreaking every time I watch these videos Marcus but I appreciate what you do. I just wish there was a way to get help for some of your interviewees. And not just financial help, but emotional and psychological help. Trauma is the root cause of the negative behaviors. 💔

Hands down easily one of the best videos I’ve watched! What you’re doing for Josias is 100% what he needs. All respect to you! And Emily, I know she’s been quite mouthy and highly opinionated in other videos lol and may come across as cocky etc but she came through on this video and I can see why they have both gravitated towards each other. They may have only known each other a short while but they have confided in one another and been a source of much needed comfort. Emily deserves the help and support just as Josias does. This video has made me warm to her. I like her. We got to see another side to her, a sweet, caring side. I work with troubled and non-troubled teens, and you have to be a very special person to be able to deal with all that comes with dealing with this age group of young people because they are finding themselves and just trying to figure life out. They are going to make mistakes just like the rest of us have done in this life. None of us are perfect and know it all. We live and we learn (some never grow up no matter how old they get) and if we can be a sounding board and help someone along the way then that's great.
