it hasnt been long since i saw your fights and then videos for first time, but you really quickly became one of my favorite fighters, and later you joined ufc which made me even happier for you, keep it up you are a big inspiration for someone like me who wants to succeed one day in mma 🙏
Your a beast jordan! I got puffed out watching them bike sprints 😂. Thats how dedicated you are! Still remember you always jogging past the house 👌😂 you always knew when i was sat at the door too 😂.. keep smashing your goals mate!!! Always said youd be in the ufc! ❤💪 #teamvucenic
10s into the video- how in the fuuuuuuuuuck do you walk around at 84kg and not die making 66kg? damnnn dude. next level commitment. im a 145er myself and cannot physically allow myself to get above 155lbs.
no more 145lbs for me 🤣 i made it by not being active enough as it was just a stress on the body i needed time in between to recover, but i think you should be slightly heavier than 155lbs to make the 145lbs class mate, and you’ll get a monster cutting the weight and they will use their size as an advantage,
Hey. Jordan I need some advice on weight cutting. Wondering if I should move up a weight class. I’m a ammy 135, 5’8 1/2, record (4-2) - all of which at 135. Doing two sessions a day I’m walking 155-158. The heaviest I have been is 167. I have aspirations to go pro. Should be more disciplined try implant more cardio and dieting to stay bantamweight. Or should go to featherweight. Thank you for the lessons.
i would say while you’re at amma try it out at featherweight and see how you feel, losses are lessons as a amateur you should be trial and error with fight styles weight cuts everything and find where you feel best ready for pro
i still keep the technical aspect just as high mate, i would say i don’t spar as regularly or as intense out of camp and my rest periods on my sprint days are significantly longer, i try to maintain a fitness level and constantly try upgrade my fight iq
@jordanvucenicmma so would you say the main difference is the training intensity? Do you take any breaks after fights as well, or are you back at the gym the next day? I would just really appreciate any advice on how to do this sustainably, because last time I tried staying always fight ready I ended up constantly sick and with 5 staph infections in 3 months
@ so i normally go into the gym after a fight to gloat more than anything mate 🤣 just get my pats on the back, but i don’t push to hard i just try to maintain a certain level of fitness, but a week off after a fight won’t cause you any harm aslong as you don’t go paddy pimplett with your food 🤣
@@kkadzielna then after your week off mate go back to training instead of sparring the 3x a week spar 1-2 etc, if you feel good train good days you feel tired, push but not to exhaustion a happy fighter is a dangerous fighter

How much do you reduce your training volume outside of camp compared to in camp? Just purely in terms of the training hours you put in
