Could you please do a detailed and extensive tutorial on building a CRUD app using REST apis with FlutterFlow. I truly believe that doing so would be an immense and invaluable resource. This is because there are many tutorials on Firestore/Firebase and the only tutorials on FF and REST are simple read operations. Another reason doing this would be invaluable is that there are many instances where using Firestore would not be desirable either due to company policy, data sovereignty, or implementation and investment in systems that use apis, this is why for example a bank or fintech would probably never use Firestore.
I hope you can and would fill this tutorial void.

Hi, David. Your Tutorial is nice and very educative. It answers so many questions about querying databases, especially for beginners.
my only advice and comments are:
1. Try implementing some screen ideas well beforehand to ensure seamless presentations. You did a great job.
2. Your presentation video is blocking the screen menu and blinding the spot where some fields are located. Pls, take note of these.

I have one issues.
I make ka enum field in user collection of role (admin, company and driver)
When i update action of authentication and set field role to driver or company
It automatically update the role to other page of add driver
Also other fields of user collection automatic change when i change in other page

Love the vid, am new to flutterflow and this has helped me out a lot. Can i please offer 1 suggestion, can you move your camera so that your face is not showing on top of the parameters, alot of the time when i am trying to follow what you are doing, it is hidden behind your beautiful face, :)
Your videos are good, the only thing is missing is that your confused, your main focus on this video is CRUD but you spent half an hour on UI fixing the Padding and columns, rather than that well done. 🎉 keep it up
I have made an app where I use phone login for authentication. After login when user will navigate to create screen. On adding create document action, it shows an error 'only create document via authentication action'. Can anyone solve this issue?

As a beginner and woman that has no idea about any coding just succeeded on creating address pages on my app! :D I had trouble on editing part tho. I wanted to edit only a few fields not all the fields as you showed. That way, other info goes blank in the read page :( Any videos on making that possible? Do i have to set up conditional value so that if i dont edit that field it will show the previous value? well i dont know how to do it yet but i will hopefully. Thank you!!!

It's possible to do that.
You have to make sure that the initial value of the text fields is from the queried documents
That way when you want to edit, you edit only the field you want while the rest remains as it was

Very nice tutorial to create CRUD operation using flutterflow, I have a query. When we update the value, if the user wants to update the specific field only and not editing all the fields, it is not happening. Non edited fields are updating with an empty value and not with the value populated from the parameters. Should we bind the fields with parameter values passed? How to do it?

Your video is blocking the tutorial
I cant see other things that you are doing because your face is blocking it. Never mind your face as long as we can see all what you are doing
You should prepare what you're going to say in your videos. Something like a script and then speak accordingly. Your way of telling is very extempore in nature and quite confusing for the viewer. Plus it increases your video lengths also because your mind keeps on buffering for the next piece of right action.
