Deaf Havana's James Veck-Gilodi On 'Rituals' Era & Lockdown Life - Video Call

We chatted a few weeks back with Deaf Havana's James Veck-Gilodi in the midst of our nationwide lockdown. We talked through what lessons he learned from the band's most recent album 'Rituals' and why they decided to play the record live and in full last year. Plus, we look back on the first ever Gunnersville festival which they played alongside You Me At Six, The Maine, Jimmy Eat World and As It Is. Finally, we look to the future and what new music ideas James has been working on in isolation.

lovely to hear you talk about Old Souls so fondly , and being a bit more critical about Rituals, you did the total opposite when Rituals came out and it offended a lot of the long-time fans, but you got me back now

Yeah idk how these guys let alone alot of full time musicians who make a majority of their money on the road are paying their bills with venues and concerts being down cause of covid.
