Love your camera tests!😊 My OPPO Find X8 Pro arrived today, gales & torrential rain in Devon UK 🇬🇧 today so not had a chance to test the camera, but played a lot with the phone whilst setting it up and love it compared to my 9 Pro XL which I'll now sell. Cheers for this!.❤
AI and software is now being used to compensate for smaller sensors. It's cheaper for the consumer and the difference in image quality is negligible in most cases. Larger sensor = higher cost, so the manufacturers are finding a balance with what consumers are prepared to pay vs. adding overkill components that just add to the cost.

I don't have any restrictions on what I can compare the phone to, but it seems quite pointless comparing it to the X7 Ultra since that was a china-only device that few people actually purchased. I have Pixel 9 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro comparisons coming up.
