IL SHAOLIN KUNG FU School, Master Yang Chen, Chicago, Naperville, Chinese Martial Arts

This video was created at Benedictine University "Festival of Asia" on January 20, 2012 and expresses the personal experience of Master Yang Chen from the IL SHAOLIN KUNG FU School located in Naperville, IL.
Grand Master Chen was recognized by the Chinese government as an Official First Degree Wushu Judge, a "Wu-Ying" level Wushu Athlete, and an Official First Degree Wushu Coach.
Before settling in Chicago in 2007, Master Chen traveled throughout Western Europe for several years, performing with the Shaolin Temple performance troupe.
Special Honors:
1994: Master Chen earned a spot on the Shangxi Professional Wushu Team.
1998: Entered the Shaolin Temple where he studied Shaolin Kung Fu and Shaolin Qi Gong.
2001: Became an instructor, choreographer, and performer of the Shaolin Temple performance group.

July 2002: Qingdao National Wushu Competition: 1st place Ditang, 1st place Southern Fist, and 2nd place Broadsword

Feb 2003: Hong Kong National Wushu Competition: 1st place Ditang, 1st place Baji, and 2nd place 3-Sectional Staff
•Feb 2004: Special guest performance for the 11th anniversary of Macau's return to China.
