    Hello, it's a great video. Could you please tell me the start-up procedure of DFIG? I mean how actually run the DFIG. First, it runs as a motor when it takes power from the grid and then when its speed more than synchronous then it becomes a generator. My confusion is how it goes to over synchronous mode, from where it gets more speed..? It would be great if you give this answer. Thanks in advance.

    hi, can u help me some. is full-scale converter popular in wind turbine now? and what type of generator using this converter ? cuz i see most turbine using DFIG but converter of DFIG is just partly converter... thank you

      Hi Luan,
      yes FC are popular as well. These converters are coupled with permanent magnet machines. This technology is used for PV as well.
