    In regards to the dowels, after drilling for them do you add any jb weld or any adhesive so the dowels won’t come loose?

    • @OdellCompleteConcrete
      @OdellCompleteConcrete  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      These particular ones were drill. 3/8" drill bit, 3/8" rebar, a very tight fit slammed in with a 6lb sledge.

    Instead of drilling in the dowels would it not be better to excavate under the existing concrete to create a uniform keyway connecting the two? Have you ever seen it where the rebar dowels will pop through the surface of an existing slab?

    • @OdellCompleteConcrete
      @OdellCompleteConcrete  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In some cases I do it that way, depending on concrete condition

Some patching to be done and I’m sure more with blasting. Maybe not. Have a sandblasting company already in mind to use with a good price and also does wood. My eaves are horrible. Thinking they painted over oil base. Home was built in 64’. Seems stucco guys are not good at returning calls.

    what kind of expansion foam are you using? Used some big store quikrete or sakrete foam and checked back on some work from 3-4 years ago and it has completely disintegrated? what should i do, just seal it with a rubber sealant at that point?

    • @OdellCompleteConcrete
      @OdellCompleteConcrete  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      depends on your climate and situation, For me not worried about sealing with 4"s rain a year.
      If it does disintegrate that's great for drainage, out the weep holes.

    Then they could plant a raw of palm trees spaced 2-3 feet apart, so that the RV gets some shade from the sun.
