You should definitely go with the rookie qb with his size and throw power and his short upgrade bar his accuracy will go up very quickly he is the obvious choice at QB

Absolutely start Evan Thomas and at minimum start Branch as your 3rd down back. QB would likely be an 80+ by playoffs and have gotten a dev scenario or two.
96 throw power is too crazy to not use, as long as TD can use an offense that can keep the pressure off the QB and maintain a pocket the deep shots are gonna go insane with this receiving core

Pay attention to the players interests in Free Agency!! A lot of them want to be schem fits and you can simply go to your coaching schemes tab and change your scheme to match that players player type.
For Simmons, he was a 91 “Run Stopper” so in your coach scheme tab just switch to a defense that has Run Stopper as the scheme fit for the RE position.
Had you done this, Jeff Simmons interest in your team would’ve been high in the GREEN!!!!
