I felt sorry for all of the Oscar winners. Their big moments were overshadowed by the Smith/Rock Slap Controversy, and it's both great and hilarious for them to acknowledge them, through song form, of course!
Look at the bright side, atleast CODA's Best Picture win wasn't ruined when it was announced. Like the show didn't end abruptly unlike last year which the last category to announce was Best Actor simply because one of the nominees passed away and yet it was given to the actor who was great in the movie but couldn't attend the ceremony or the fact that it wasn't a mixed up envelope

Yeah, I hear a lot of people disappointed about "The Bruno" performance... But, let's be real. People are disappointed because they didn't stick to the original song format made for the movie. My guess it would have been real costly due to the time slot given to translate this song to stage using real Disney Costumes, set decorations... Disney probably wants to save an original performance spectacle for their theme parks. What I didn't get who was the female rapper who sang Dolores' rap? I saw Adassa there and why she didn't sing her part?

We are witnessing the beginning of the greatest roast of any two people in history! The comedian's are going to get their pound of flesh...and I love it...seeing how Chris looked after the fact and no one coming to his aid makes me so angry! I hope he sues them....

I'd be curious to see how they would react if they were make a presentation in front of the entire world, only to be physically and verbally assaulted! Then continue with their presentation. Watching Chris Rocks' expression change after that frightening and humiliating altercation was difficult. I really have no interest in seeing King Richard now. This right here, James R! Seeing Chris keep going like a real gentleman in the wake of an assault to the head, keeping his pain and shock as down-low as anybody could, was an example of courage few could duplicate. As he continues his duties as an Oscar presenter like the OG professional he is, watch how nobody acknowledges what he went through. Up until he walks off stage with the group, we see him slowly shake his head, just in shock, eyes wide, almost looked like he was talking to himself since nobody else would. I sincerely hope someone backstage gave him an ice pack, at the very least. Chris Rock is a hero. James has been in a lot of musicals. My favorite is Into the Woods. But he was in Cats, a couple of Trolls movies, the new Cinderella on Amazon Prime, and a bunch more. I love his voice.
I recommend people who haven't heard him sing look for videos on TH-cam of his many performances. I love the "riff-offs" in which he competes with other celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris, Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert and others. He also sings in a car with famous recording artists like Adele and Celine Dion in carpool karaoke. One of the funniest segments of the show is when he gets a cast of people to perform musicals at crosswalks between traffic light changes.
Watch Corden's car ride with Billie Eilish. He sounds pretty good.
