It usually takes a big group debut like this to start a new gen, then people sort of hop onto it and stans eventually agree when a new gen has started (e.g the boyz starting 4th gen, exo starting 3rd etc.) Basically 4/5 years now since groups like ATEEZ/SKZ/TXT have debuted, now younger groups are debuting under their labels (new jyp bg for example) and i guess they start 5th gen.
they raised the standard soo high, future rookies will have trouble keeping up and even experienced groups should FEAR xikers, they have so much potential
