My mother used to run the Little Miss Firecracker Pagent in Sebastian during the Forth of July, and for the Christmas Parade, she made us Nativity ancient-garb clothing and we walked down US1. I was upfront leading the parade in long flowing blue and white clothes as Mother Mary with my Cabbage Patch kid as my Baby Jesus in the eighties! It was glorious! I was baptized, had holy communion, and was confirmed there at the Catholic Church with Father Joe, and my fellow Catholics. BE A COMMUNITY! We also had little to NO CRIME back then. We ran offshore charter fishing trips from Captain Hirams and built thousands of beautiful homes throughout the area. 🌴🏡🌴 DON'T COMPLAIN! DO SOMETHING! ❤️🔥 You have to BE CREATIVE living in Sebastian. Really Creative. 🎄 Merry Christmas! 🦈🐚🪸🪼
