DRYBAR comedy shows in Provo, Utah, has great but clean comedy shows. I wish I could make the 300mi. trip to take in those comedy shows but having to relocate to So. Utah to provide care for our elderly parents makes it impossible to take in the shows....at least for a few more years. Family first!

Found my new favorite comedian!! Skeeter should be a permanent sidekick. He really is the epitomy of a good ole Southern Boy...and they really are the BEST.
Omg Brandi, I met them after the show. If you look close at Skeeters right wrist, you will see a hospital tag. They had their tickets for a long time and then Skeeter got sick. Yet They were not going to miss the show for nothing! They were so thrilled to be a big part of the show. It made me believe in magic again. I was so thankful that I picked on him. I don't know how things finally turned out for that sweet man. All I know is he will live forever by being apart of the taping. It's so funny, I've had some KAREN'S Scold me for picking on them. I say to myself, "Oh Honey If You Only Knew What Was Really Happening!"

God forbid somebody in the nosebleed section sneaks down to the front row. It's a great and heartwarming story that you got to meet him and his family and make their night! It is true that laughter is the best medicine so you were a big help to Skeeter. I had a guy friend in high school named Skeeter and I don't know why we called him Skeeter but he was a really good guy. I'm glad to see more people are discovering your clean, hilarious humor. Keep it up and focus on how many people love you and ignore the haters. My four kids and I grew up at the beach in Southern California. We left before that state before it went off the rails. We moved to Georgia and that was our first experience in the South. After high school, my youngest daughter was a sex trafficking missionary for three years in central and South America, and Asia. She met her future husband as he was a fellow member of the missionary team and he is from a little town just outside of Louisville, Kentucky, so my baby is in touch with the Kentucky people and they're going to make little Kentucky babies 😂❤
I lived in SW Kansas when I was a kid and the console TV story was the one that made me lose it! My mom won a black and white console TV in 1959 from an AG store contest. We watched that TV for 14 years until 1973 when the folks moved to town and they got a little color set and put it right on top of the console TV. LOL

I loved the 8 point buck comment about the hair. Back in the 70s my cousins from South Alabama had big hair in the form of Dolly Parton type wigs. One weekend we had a pool party at my cousin's house and drinking was involved. I was dating a Texan new to Ft Rucker. When they started tossing folks in the pool and girls started pulling off wigs, the poor guy freaked. All he could say is "does anyone have their own hair".
In the 60s big hair got wrapped up in toilet paper every night to keep it pretty til the next trip to the beauty shop on Saturday. We went through so much toilet paper and hair spray, it was figured into the weekly budget. 😂

I was a movie producer in LA for over 20 years and was pretty successful - i am from VA and often got underestimated bc for some reason, our accent, equates "dumb" lol but like you, I used it to my advantage. I told him their shat wouldn't stink for about a week then one day there would be some hard round little turds so smelly he would puke. I could relate since I come from Indiana yet the small town felt more like the heart of the south. It's a town of less than 200 people, 1 church, and 5 bars. We used to have a hardware store until it burned down because the owner was making meth in the basement

Not since Moms Mabley have I seen a woman comedian that uses her ethnicity, (white Southern lady) to cross that line that makes us realize that we are all the same. Whether she talks about children, husband, school, religion, work, home, we all share the same experiences. She is smart, witty and insightful. She does that by being funny. 😂😂🤩
Hey Etta Mae, I didn't even get a pillow case for my candy at Halloween - just a Safeway paper grocery sack! One year it had rained and the grass was wet. Bottom of sack got wet and all my candy fell out of the bottom in someone's yard in the dark. No flashlight either! 😂
My uncle who was connected in our little town would do re-con to find out what everyone was giving out. He took me around in his little hillbilly cart (an old studebaker stripped to the frame and turned into a tractor) and we would only hit the houses giving out the good stuff. We would divide up our loot at the end of the night

I always wanted to be a comedian. I always had a story or said something that made people crack up. My problem is I have dealt with quite severe autism and being in front of people is a no go. In school I could not talk when asked a question. I spent more time with councilors and therapist with no good results. I believe they made things worst. I am now 64, living alone since my wife died in 2022. My sister say's make friends and that would be great if I could talk without feeling like I was going to pass out. I can't even go into a store with people in it. I start sweating and shaking so bad I have to leave. You are so good at what you do. I love watching your video's.

I loved the 8 point buck comment about the hair. Back in the 70s my cousins from South Alabama had big hair in the form of Dolly Parton type wigs. One weekend we had a pool party at my cousin's house and drinking was involved. I was dating a Texan new to Ft Rucker. When they started tossing folks in the pool and girls started pulling off wigs, the poor guy freaked. All he could say is "does anyone have their own hair".
So funny. My Mama still has the same hair do! She goes through a whole can of hairspray a day. 🥰
In the 60s big hair got wrapped up in toilet paper every night to keep it pretty til the next trip to the beauty shop on Saturday.
We went through so much toilet paper and hair spray, it was figured into the weekly budget.

I was a movie producer in LA for over 20 years and was pretty successful - i am from VA and often got underestimated bc for some reason, our accent, equates "dumb" lol but like you, I used it to my advantage. I told him their shat wouldn't stink for about a week then one day there would be some hard round little turds so smelly he would puke. He looked at me so weird and Iaughed bc I really didn't know all that about raising kids. He came up to me a month later and told me how right I was...his kid shat the hard turds that morning and he gagged and puked. 😅

Not since Moms Mabley have I seen a woman comedian that uses her ethnicity, (white Southern lady) to cross that line that makes us realize that we are all the same. Whether she talks about children, husband, school, religion, work, home, we all share the same experiences. She is smart, witty and insightful. She does that by being funny. 😂😂🤩

Hey Etta Mae, I didn't even get a pillow case for my candy at Halloween - just a Safeway paper grocery sack! One year it had rained and the grass was wet. Bottom of sack got wet and all my candy fell out of the bottom in someone's yard in the dark. No flashlight either! 😂
My uncle who was connected in our little town would do re-con to find out what everyone was giving out. He took me around in his little hillbilly cart (an old studebaker stripped to the frame and turned into a tractor) and we would only hit the houses giving out the good stuff. We would divide up our loot at the end of the night

I always wanted to be a comedian. I always had a story or said something that made people crack up. My problem is I have dealt with quite severe autism and being in front of people is a no go. In school I could not talk when asked a question. I spent more time with councilors and therapist with no good results. I believe they made things worst. I am now 64, living alone since my wife died in 2022. My sister say's make friends and that would be great if I could talk without feeling like I was going to pass out. I can't even go into a store with people in it. I start sweating and shaking so bad I have to leave. You are so good at what you do. I love watching your video's.
