I for one am really glad you actually talk about politics. A lot of people I watch (most if not all, in fact) never bring up politics in their videos and I find it really refreshing to actually know where people stand. Great video!
ahhh than you so much for this encouragement, Benny!! it really means the world 🥺
My daughter and I just found your channel. We love watching any type of video having to do with NYC, even though we have never been there....LOL. We are in California, and find New York so interesting. You girls are just adorable. I can say that because I am a mom. How wonderful that as sisters you get to experience life in the city together. This was so interesting to hear you compare both places. Yes.....please do more coffee chit chats. Maybe talk about how you found your apartment, or what area you picked to live in and why, etc. Awww, breaks my heart as a mom that you felt like you couldn't come out in Montana. We talk a lot on our channel about acceptance, and my "mama bear" comes out easily when I hear stories of intolerance. Watching you two, I turned to my daughter, who is the "my" in our channel name, and I said "Oh my gosh, these girls remind me of YOU" I love the spunk you both have. We subbed! 😉
i would LOVE advice and tip videos from you both. I’m planning on moving to nyc in November and love your honest look at life in the city!
ahh would love to chat more about this!!
loving all the new content! y’all are so genuine and it’s very refreshing :)
Oh my gosh, thank you so much, Danielle!! That truly means the world to us both 🥺🤍
As an almost 35 yr old, I appreciate your zest for life. I was never able to go out on my own, except for college. I went from home with my parents, to college, back home and then met my hubby. My one regret was to go somewhere near and live alone for a year. Great job ladies!!
you two are the most cool cozy sisters I've ever met! love watching your video
wowowow truly the sweetest compliment THANK YOU, Aaliyah!! 🥺🤍
The upper west side truly is life changing ♥️
such a dream come true!!
I feel all of this! I grew up in a regional area but I moved to Melbourne (Australia) for my 20's, so many similarities in what you were saying about nature vs culture. Right now I've hit my 30's and culture is still winning but I always miss natural spaces and the fresh air!
Would love to see some videos on exploring upstate NY and finding natural places that feel more like what you miss about MT.
Thank you so much for this comment, Anita!! It's so tough to love such different places but also such a gift! We are so excited to explore more and bring you guys along for some day trips out of the city 💖
Lovely chatty video thanks guys. Love hearing about your life in NYC . Also 👌💕 to the fall vibes in your outfits
gahhh thank you so so much, sarah!! you're the sweetest 💖
I just love the video content you two lovely and lively sisters post. You both remind me of my lil sister and myself. Although I am in probably in an older age group than perhaps most of your viewers (50 something) I really enjoy how you girls are able to relate to ALL age groups with the content you post 😊 I enjoy how you are able to be mature with a side of silly! You are both a joy!
Y’all made it so frickin easy livin in the BIG APPLE! 🗽🍎🏙
I am a Native Montanan, have never lived any where else & I have never been so disgusted with the political state of our state. Also with the way rent has increased in Missoula & so many people moving here it has changed the cost of living and our overall vibe, Makes me sad.
It's really just so incredibly frustrating. Really hoping things get better soon! Sending so much love your way!!
Love this video!! Felt like I was catching up with two pals. 💞 Also can hardcore relate to the pain of going out in your hometown and running into so many people who you don't want to see. 🤦🏽♀️
gahhh cassie!! 🥺you are truly a gem!! but yes wowowow ghosts around every corner 👀
So weird, I'm watching this on a Tuesday night, not the best Tuesday night, but it's going alright haha
oh my goodness hahahaha incredible!!
yassss thriving!! 💕💕
I don't know that I could ever live in NYC, but I do love to visit. I've been multiple times, and what draws me is similar to what you expressed: art, architecture, theater, energy, and liberal-minded people. Sidebar: Love your outfits.
absolutely so so fun to be a visitor in the city!! 💖
"Don't know why you're here then" 😂😂😂
I recently bought my first house and made sure it had access to Lake Michigan, weird/sad to have to consider water as a huge factor! Did city living for 9 years and loved it but was ready to go. Enjoy NYC tg during this period of your lives!!! ❤️ so special.
ahh thank you so much, Steph!! 💖 Michigan seems absolutely gorgeous! 😍
Hey peeps! Thank you for your lovely video I am really enjoying your content!
Tons of love from Vienna
if y’all ever make your way up to the finger lakes region and need a tour guide, i’m your girl! we have some pretty spectacular nature and pretty good wine too :)
@Rileyburns hi! This is so random, but I live in nyc and have been interested in spending some time in finger lakes or an upstate or New England town to experience the beauty of fall. I do not have a car. What would you recommend? Is it expensive there or what town would you recommend that I can experience fall, work at cafes without needing a car and not spend all my money haha? Thank you for your time and if you don’t have time to answer these questions please don’t worry, but when I saw your comment I thought I had to ask bc I have been thinking so much about it:) thank you Riley!
@@victoriabrady48 Ithaca or Watkins Glen are two adorable towns where public transit is easy and most things are in walking distance!! I would recommend Ithaca personally. There are tons of beautiful hikes, coffee shops, restaurants, and shops that are within walking distance. Plus, you have the lake and the Cornell campus is stunning! Let me know what you choose to do! I live 45 mins from ithaca and I'm *maybe* hoping to move there after graduation :)
Oh, and you can take a bus right from the city to downtown ithaca i believe! I haven't done it personally but I know friends who have.
@@RileyBurns ahh Riley, you rock!! I definitely will let you know what I do. What would recommend looking for places to stay, Airbnb? Or is there an easier way to find sublets?
Thank you again!
I just moved back home (NJ) and this video was so helpful!! I am a nurse am hoping to move to nyc for grad school (nurse practioner) and its been my dream to live in nyc. Thank u ladies!
Ahhh congratulations, Monica!! So so happy this was helpful 💖
What a nice video! I like listening to your thoughts and opinions. I watch because even though I’m old enough to be your mom, you two make me wonder what my life might have been if I’d left Colorado to go live in New York City. Never say never… but I probably won’t, lol. It’s fun to watch you live in the city and I can muse on what might have been. 🙂 What I’m really curious about is how you nurtured your home language of Spanish after moving from Chile to Montana. Did you use it in the home? Did your parents encourage academics in Spanish? I’m an ESL teacher and so I wonder these kinds of things with English language learners and what their experiences were like. I’d like to know what it was like when you moved to the U.S. Remember those illustrated “story of my life” videos that were popular a few years ago from vloggers? Yeah- I’d like to hear about your story except focused on language development. Thanks for taking the time to compare and contrast Missoula with NYC!
haha it is actually Tuesday night when I'm watching this
iconicccc
My fave sis duo! I saw Fun home and it was sooooo good. My son is in his freshman year in college double majoring in theater and dance. I'm originally from Los Angeles and years ago l wanted to move to New York and become a buyer for Barney's of New York. My life path has definitely taken a direction and l have no regrets. I love your storytelling.
You're the sweetest, Nikkie!! Thank you so much for your comment and sharing your story!! Fun Home is phenomenal 💖
more nyc fashion/thrifting content would
be lovely! especially now that it’s autumn. ☺️🍂🧣
oh my gosh, would LOVE to share!! 😍
For real, moving back to Missoula was a shock. I forgot that I’d have to see people I knew literally everywhere 🙃
truly around every single corner!! 👀
Also, what’s wrong with the desert 😂😂 from Arizona!
absolutely nothing wrong with the desert!! hahaha, montana is just not quite that dry 🙈
Video idea: how to handle ghosting or romantic relationship bullshit! I would love this
Cute intro!!!
ahh THANK YOU!! 💖
So… it’s a Tuesday… at night… and I’m watching this video for the first time… can y’all see ME??? 😳
hahaha incredible!!
This is super interesting! So far I find that people either love or hate NYC...like, nothing in between 😅 For me, the quarantine made me seek nature and I decided I got fed up of living in cities (in Madrid currently). I keep thinking British Columbia would be my ideal area to live in...🤔 and yet I've never been there 😄 But Montana is definitely on my list as soon as the US reopens their borders to Europeans.
Hi Michelle and Aline how are you doing 👍😊😊😊🙂🙂🙂
Why so much talking in a vlog, I rather see some stuff of your daily life…
Some of us really enjoy their sit-down videos just as much as you enjoy their weekly vlogs. Lucky for us all, these two put out both types of videos. Keep in mind that Michelle and Aline do not exist solely for your entertainment, and it's a blessing that we get to watch their videos at all.
Hi, Michelle & Aline,
We’d love you to try our microdose coffee!💛 Let’s collab! For more information, I sent you an email :)
