I disagree tbh. I like this version more mainly because it doesn't feature "for my son" line, so it fits William's character better, since William has been shown to not give a shit about his kids.
If you think about it the five animatronics lived off of springtrqp and they wanted to get revenge on aftons son Micheal that’s why they attack all the security guards because they think it’s Micheal or William afton that’s also why golden Freddy never fully kills you with his jump scare
