I love the v1 way more than the v2. The upper fits a lot better than the baggy one of the v2, the higher stack makes the shoe feel special, and even the outsole is better on the v1. The price wasn't as ridiculous as the 230 euro of the v2. The v3 is now 250 euro, which is the same as a Metaspeed Paris or Adios Pro 3...
Do any of the running shoe companies still make a traditional (non-carbon plated) racing flat? That segment of the market seems to have vanished. Also what would you say is the current New Balance spiritual successor to the old Zante/Tempo? Used to love the Zante. That lighter shoe but it wasn't a racing flat, great for 10ks, half marathons, 10 miler's, speed work, tempo runs. I still have one pair of the fresh from Tempo that I got on clearance... Almost don't want to use them because then I won't have them for like a half marathon 🙂. I know, my dilemmas are deep 😎.
New balance has a Fuel cell pulse, Adidas has the adios 8 and incoming adios 9, Saucony has the sinister, Nike has streakfly. They're all still there as an option they're just not popular
Just feeling poopy during a run has a different meaning if I’m running. That’s the danger zone my friend 😅. I do love my elite v3s. Looking to replace my fresh foam v13s after 500 miles. Might have to look these up.
Forgot to mention the fuelcell Propel which is all eva with a plastic plate. Calling the foam a mix of fuelcell and Eva is misleading. New Balance is calling the foam itself fuelcell, as well as the shoe line. The rebel and trainer have the same foam that is a mix of 20%peba and 80% Eva. The only difference is the trainer has a plate. I don't think it's right shoe companies can get away with calling different foams the same name and mislead uninformed consumers.
The fuel cell rebel doesnt have a carbon plate. Its not quite the zante, but its still a minimal fast neutral trainer. I like the rebels more than the zante.

How does the propel v5 fit in? It’s $120 fuelcell with a plastic plate.

Did you poop behind a tree?
4:56 I think you mean 20% peba and 80% eva. FuelCell is an umbrella term.
I haven't run in any of the New Balance fuel cell shoes yet, I'm Still rocking my fresh foam 880s. how does fuel cell compared to Fresh foam?
I think if these we're your first fuel cell shoes from the 880, you might like these a lot
Could you please do comparison between the new brooks adrenaline, new hoka arahi, and new gaviota ?
Are these shoes good for longer runs of 10-15 miles.
How is the structure of the heal cup?

Are all the fuels sell shoes carbon plated? or is that just all the Rebel shoes are carbon-plated?
The fuel cell rebel doesnt have a carbon plate. Its not quite the zante, but its still a minimal fast neutral trainer. I like the rebels more than the zante.
In New Balance's nomenclature, "supercomp" or "SC" = carbon plate
Propel v4 and v5 have tpu plates.
NB is all over the place with cringy designs these days...Hey NB, can you make the "N" any fukken bigger?
The taller the stack, the slower you run...fact.
