At least it was a somewhat effective way to kill her off, since Tatrock later remarks on how it "purified" Vernorte's soul, at least providing the group with some useful information. Granted Rinyu HAD to be killed off at some point or another as a non-negotiable matter, due to Lyblac making an attempt to use her to revive Galdera, but later going after Kit (If Rinyu was still alive, Lyblac has zero reason to expend resources searching after or attempting to use Kit because she already has Rinyu readily available).
Is this supposed to be the final arc? Aren't there four more rings to contend with, or did I miss something about the rings of Dreisang, Balogar, Steorra, and Winnehild?
Do they also add new characters over time? I'm guessing so since the description says "at launch" after the amount of characters. I preregistered. Gonna be fun, even if I havnt played Octopath Traveller

There's no rings for those 4 Gods, it's been confirmed in game that there was only ever 8
