Hey Paige,& Jeff, Have you ever tried to rub the rabbits with lime juice. It is a natural tenderizer for pretty much all meat & poultry. Rub it on all sides of the meat & let it rest for at least 3-4 hours in the fridge, take it out about 1 hour prior to cooking to bring it up to room temperature & cook as you would normally. rabbit is one of my favourite game meats here in the uk,i hunt hem using a ferret and nets great winter sport on a cold frosty morning,i make rabbit stew and pie plus i make rabbit caccitore and fricassie . here i the uk jeff my mum used mix chestnuts with sausage meat you guys call it ground pork,cook the chestnuts either in a pan of water by boiling them or in the oven until shells spilt when cool peel chop pork sausage meat in a bowl chopped chestnuts mix throughly and us it too either like a patty by placing it in a flat dish too bake in the oven or stuff it in your turkey for thanksgiving or christmas
My grandparents place had chestnut trees . I hated going out to pick them up . Cause they are in a very hurtful hull. You had to have some good leather shoes so you didn't get stuck in the foot.

i've wondered what real maple suryp tastes like, after mother died, i found a lil grey jug she had squirreled back in a cupboard, so i fixed me a pancake supper, fried potatoes and some bacon, that stuff was thin,watery like thin, it was terrible, i hope that wasnt real just some bottleleg tourist stuff, it was nasty, realy dark too, enjoy watchin you two kids

We ate fried rabbit a lot during the winter months. Mom made gravy from the brownie bits left in the skillet. Yum yum.
