Nice announcements and great recordings of Rodgers Chiltern Railway service and train not for public use as I never heard it before. Tactile Paving one is something very similar they added as they announce that at Exeter St. Davids. Sadly SWR are not running their service to Bristol but Severn Beach/Avonmouth have now half hourly service as before it was 3 trains every 2h.
Thanks Jamie! I think only two trains a day are booked to depart from Platform 4 but it seems the evening one is usually altered to depart from Platforms 1 or 2 instead. Very good news for the Severn Beach line but bad for people wanting South London or the SWR suburban network. The connections aren’t even very good at Salisbury in one of the directions since they’re also cutting back the half hourly stopper.
@@Parallel395 It's going to make more trains packed for GWr as you have to change at Sailsbury for services to Watrloo. Interesting that 2 Chiltern train service go on P4. Amy TTS announces Tactile paving at WMT.
I would’ve thought Avanti would’ve used Anne as they got her to record ones for social distancing and mask wearing, but they use an unknown man. Scotrail have theirs tagged onto the end of long manually recorded safety announcements. I haven’t heard anything yet for tactile paving on TfW and SWR stations.
@@Parallel395 Yeah as Avanti/FirstGroup favour Anne alot she also does announcement for journey delayed by 15 mins compensation for them too. Could be Anne hasn't had a chance yet because she is manager of CIS department, no idea for the two TOCs you mentioned.
