People don't care how much you know,
Until you show them how much you care.

    -Be suave
B-Believe: Either way, if you believe you can or can't, you are right. If you fight for your limitations, you get to keep them. You need powerful, positive beliefs to do powerful, positive things. Your brain is similar to a supercomputer. Whatever negative thoughts you tell yourself, will "run". Add "yet" to your negative thoughts.
E-Exercise: Practice makes progress. Remembering names takes effort, but it doesn't take as much as you think. It takes around 30-60 days to develop a new habit.
S-Say: By saying the person's name, you're not only hearing it twice, but you're making sure you heard it right.
U- Use: Use the person's name in a conversation.
A-Ask: Everybody loves talking about themselves. Therefore, ask questions about their name. This is helpful if the name is unfamiliar.
V-Visualize: If you tend to remember what you see, visualize what you want see.
E-End: Say their name at the end of the conversation.

If you fight for your limitations... You get to keep them.
Remembering names..I know I want to so I'll give this a try and get it into practise..
B Believe you can, remember all the names in this case
E Exercise -Memory training takes a bit of effort, remember -practise makes progress..
S Say it Say the name of the person you meet when you greet them to hear it twice. Make sure you hear it correctly.
U use the name in the conversation, say their name 3-5 times.. Don't overdo it. Use it, don't abuse it.
A Ask for the meaning of their name, who are they named after esp. If it's an unique name.
V Visualise the name. what I hear I forget, what I see I remember, what I do I understand.
E end. Say goodbye, End the conversation bye dating their name.

Another Great hack that I'm going to try :)
7 ways to rembr people names
Before going out remember "I am going to BE SUAVE"
Believe and be conscious of limiting beliefs
    Exercise practice makes progress
Say the name to hear it twice and make sure you heard it correctly
Use the name in the conversation
Ask about the person's name especially when it's a unique name
Visualize -What I hear I forget, What i see I remember, What I do I understand
End with saying their name and if you can remember everyone's name by the end of the night you will be remembered

Thanks Jim, i have been a great victim of forgetting names in seconds but with this episode, its already changing. I try to BE SUAVE always:
Be Conscious of meeting people and the intention to remember their names.
Exercise with the names your heard. Practice makes Progress.
Say it; say the name you heard, one for you to hear it twice both from you and form the other person as well as to be sure you heard it correctly.
Use it: Use the name three or four times within the conversation. dont abuse it
Ask: Ask about the persons name especially when it is a unfamiliar or difficult name. Ask how do you spell it… who were you named after…. How do you spell it…
Visualize: try to visualize what you want to remember.
End: end the conversation or saying goodbye ending with the name.

I tend to learn better if I can see the thing as well as hear it, so for those like me - here are the highlights!
    BE SUAVE
B - believe. Believe you're capable of (remembering others' names , in this case)
E - exercise. Practice!!! remembering is a skill and takes a bit of effort. You get good at what you practice.
S- say it. You want to say the person's name when you first meet someone.
U- use it. Use the person's name in the course of the conversation.
A- ask. Ask about the person's name.
V- visualize. make a mental story of the person and their name to tie the two together.
E- end. when you part, say good-bye using their name!

Hello sir.. I'm from India and I'm a pursuing law student. My profession seriously requires me to quote sentences verbatim with numbers and so much more... I need to get into the practice of reading and well as remembering.. Your videos are great motivators and power boosters... You give proofs to all that you speak.. And hence I'm confident that I can do it too. 😊Thank you so much for your help ❤️

    BE SUAVE
B stand for "BELIVE" so start to believe you can remember people name, or use "yet" when you telling your self that you can't
E stand for "Exercise,", so the bad news is you need to take practice, to achieve the skill, but it's not take as much as you think
S stand for "Say it", Because you can hear it twice and make sure that you heard it correctly
U Stand for "Use is", make it easy to remember because you repeat the name
A Stand for "Ask", So the more information that you got from the name, the easier to remember, ex : the meaning of the name
V Stand for "visualize", is easier to recognize thing that you already see before and by visualize the name helps you to get the image
E Stand for "END", in the end of the conversation, don't forget to said the name of the person you talking to

I'm sure I saw that sentence in one of the best selling book I've read.
    I can't remember the author's name yet... but I'm sure I will soon... 😊
Nevertheless... I'm grateful to have encounter this community. My best wishes to you and your programs Jim...

A disease isn't a behaviour lol?? Would you say, that person behaves like cancer? Piece of advice (your choice to take it from some random or not, I don't claim to be some guru): always be careful about what you say and do, this is doubly true when you are negative and critical. It can seriously harm relationships
