@@soultrain65 thanks for the questions. The colour is a colourbond steel - woodland grey. Both walls and roof are the same colour.
Cost including planning, permits, etc … all up about $45k.

Nice vid, I'm building a 6mx6m 2.7m height to gutters. 1 pa door 1 window. 1 roller door. How long would it take the dudes to put it up? 2 days max?

    • @selfrelianceaustralia166
      @selfrelianceaustralia166 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thanks @Davy123. Once the slab is down, two days would do it I’d reckon. Two guys working on mine finished in three days including having to come back because a few pieces were missing…

Great Vid - thx for sharing! What is the shed colour and what slab sealant did you end up using? Looks mint!

      Hi Louis,
Really glad you enjoyed the vid. The shed is Woodland Grey (standard Colourbond colour) and the sealer is Crommelin Concrete Floor Sealer from Bunnings.
It probably is sad, but every time I go in there I smile and say, gee I’m glad I did that first thing! I still love the way it looks.
Thanks for watching the channel !🙏

@@selfrelianceaustralia166 Brilliant - many thanks! You should totally smile and enjoy your shed; not going to build many of these structures during ones life! We're doing the same with constructing the shed first and house second, on a rural block. We've gone for Ironstone colour, and I'll use the Crommelin sealer too - their products are👌

    Hello,
The white trim around the floor slab which meets the wall sheets, does that seal the whole wall profile? If so can you help with supplier?
    Thank you

      Hi Lee,
It was supplied with the shed as an optional extra. It goes close to sealing it and just clips together. It is meant for vermin control and does seem to keep the big things out.
Not sure if that answered your question though… it does follow the wall profile.
It is not a tight seal though. A few of them also pop off occasionally as well.
I got these from the shed supplier B&G Sheds at Point Cook in Victoria.
I found them really good to work with.
      Hope this helps Lee.
      All the best.

There is a product called vermaseal which you can use. This is not it but there are a few things for vermin proofing sheds depending on requirements.

Thanks David. I’ll have to check that out. This product is mostly ok but would be keen for a total seal.
