Trell take is horrible. Nobody wants Drake to be more black or prove he black. They want him to stop acting, and make music for women and breakups. Drake is appropriating hood culture when he never been from there. In the song Away From Home Drake said hisself "I wasn't really gangsta til now." and Kendrick saying nah you was never gangsta. Keep making the club hits.

Ether didn't kill off Jay Z. Jay Z career continued and Nas career was over. And I like Nas, but people be twisting the narrative.

Drake has plenty songs of songs from his youth during his MySpace days. I've never heard any gangsta stuff from Drake.

That’s wrong. Drake came in the game if you go back to his mixtapes like room for improvement and comeback season he talked about his city until he made so far gone is debut mixtape to appeal to the masses. He talked about his relationship with his father. His father was there throughout here and there his life until teenage years spent time with his Memphis cousins nardwuar interview showed a picture with him and his family talked about it in his deep cuts on his early work. Drake’s literally has an uncle that been coined a pioneer for coming up with slap bass in funk. There been interviews when he was younger talked for his love for hiphop and that his student of the game. Every black person doesn’t have the same situations so does that make them being black not valid ?
