      @@spruceandlinen Same day update: Just watched “How I turned Stress into Creativity” (plus 3 others). Loved watching your honest, funny, heartfelt (and sometimes frustrating) creative thought process. It was encouraging to see that the creative arguments I have with myself while doing art are “normal” 😂 Your piece turned out great! I bought one of your loom kits and am excited to watch more of your instructional videos.

    I am coming to weaving late in life (very late!!) and I'm so enjoying all your videos - is it possible to have too much of a gap between the warp as I'm finding my weaving quite loose. I have 28 notches on a 13 inch frame.....I'm following this video .....

      This will depend on what EPI (ends per inch) your loom is made for, you can check out this video for more info: th-cam.com/video/Fb4TKF1Ipd4/w-d-xo.html

      @@spruceandlinen thank you so much - I've just watched the video and my loom is 2 epi so no wonder it's loose! I've made a wall hanging with super thick yarn so it turned out ok (actually for my first one it's quite good) now I'll watch the 'double warp' video and once again thanks and keep up the excellent work!!!

    Sometimes you come in from the right and then others the left, how are you deciding that or does it even make a difference?

    • @spruceandlinen
      @spruceandlinen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is there a specific section your referring to? If it’s the plain weave sections your talking about, it doesn’t matter which side you come in on. For the soumak stitch, it does. Hope that helps!

    but on this you didn't do a twining stitch?
