As I think I said in the video, I got 4x4 tiles & cut them myself.

This is the EXACT same mech as the Dayan MF8 4x4, except for the extra little center pieces. It has the same ball shells / 2x2 core.

If you were to round off the edges of your peeling tiles and make them to where they don't quite extend to the edge of the cublet, I think it would peel less

It's mathematically impossible to do parity without screwing uo the circles. A 90 degree center cut causes an OLL parity error. A 90 degree center turn causes a PLL error. It is a great intuitive way of understanding the error and solving it without algorithms.

jsdsparky You will never get a parity error on this puzzle if you solve the centers first. Both parity errors are mathematically connected tk a screw up in the center. Solve it using a centers last method and you might see an interesting pattern.
