1) In Climax kamal wants to know whether the baby is alright or not.. after seeing him he starts fighting better.. 2) It's not a Revenge movie as Kamal sir said in the film itself, it's the terrorism against drugs.. 3) I agree with u that few scenes were predictable and laggy in 1st half but it was all to build and unveil for the 2nd half 4) Also hey if u accept the physics of ballaya , it's not that hard to accept an old AGENT fighting with acceptable physics..

Even I used to think Sri Vishnu is underrated and versatile. But then after watching all his movies continuously I realized he is not versatile, and his mannerisms and acting is the same in all his movies. Especially the comedy he does has been very similar and repetitive in all his movies. The reason why we feel he is underrated or versatile is because of the better stories he has chosen to do. He can become like Fahad but for that he has to unlearn a lot. Fahad too does comedy but his comedy has variations.

It doesn't matter whether a fight is realistic or unrealistic, but it should be visually appealing and stylish , many Hollywood action movies also have unrealistic fights but we appreciate because of the taking and visuals. In Kaithi karthi fights with many people at a time after being stabbed and hit by a heavy stone, in reality anyone can fight better before being injured and loosing blood. After several injuries and loosing blood it is very difficult to win a fight, that is what the point Kamal Hassan might have thought and more ever Lokesh want to create a Indian Marvel type of universe, so we can expect some super natural Power from his heros. If captain America can do that much of over action, why can't our heroes do this much. The thing is it should look stylish. For example in fast and fouris Rock pulls a flying helicopter, anta kandalunna helicopter ni manishi laga galada, just see the movies for enjoyment.

I felt the same when Fahad Fasil brought the kid back, but I realized later that it is just an excuse to show all three stars (Kammal, Fasil and Vijay) of the movie in the same frame. I heavily disagree with the points you made regarding the predictability. The intention behind the 'cup-catching' and explanation of your girl getting killed scenes was foreshadowing. There's a difference between predictability and foreshadowing. Here the director intentionally added those scenes for foreshadowing

He is clearly super old and has a dad bot. It's impossible for even the strongest man in the world to throw 2 people at a time. They could've shown some good use of martial arts in the fight scene but they only did it for some extinct. Many scenes were just Kamal flexing his body and making Villians fly with one punch.

Coincidentally, I have seen 5 movies with 5 different movie making style. RRR, KGF 2, Sarkaru vaari paata , F3 and Vikram. All are good in their own way and how they set up and carry the movie. RRR, a cinematic brilliance with theatrical story telling. [My Favourite] KGF 2, a screenplay wonder and new age cinema making with all the elements required for an elevation. (It's like a 2 hr action packed trailer. Good, but you need that high or hook to connect) Sarkaru vaari paata is a safe template by mixing all ingredients necessary for fantertainment. [Least impressed but few things are good and can't ignore the fact that it's made for fans] F3, a non-sensical silly over-the-top animated comedy with hilarious set up and one-liners.(I know many ramanujans cry but as a movie it lived up to it's premise.) Vikram, a pure exhilarating cinematic experience with zero distractions and unforced emotions unlike the above. I believe none of the above movie making styles is superior to another and all are unique in their own way. So, I should accept the fact that there is a section of audience who likes it and dislikes it. They all became success and there is a reason for it. They set up nicely and invite us into their world but question is do they live up to it instead of our liking or our eagerness to make fun of it. Let's hope we get more of such different styles in the future!!

It doesn't matter whether a fight is realistic or unrealistic, but it should be visually appealing and stylish , many Hollywood action movies also have unrealistic fights but we appreciate because of the taking and visuals. In Kaithi karthi fights with many people at a time after being stabbed and hit by a heavy stone, in reality anyone can fight better before being injured and loosing blood. After several injuries and loosing blood it is very difficult to win a fight, that is what the point Kamal Hassan might have thought and more ever Lokesh want to create a Indian Marvel type of universe, so we can expect some super natural Power from his heros. If captain America can do that much of over action, why can't our heroes do this much. The thing is it should look stylish. For example in fast and fouris Rock pulls a flying helicopter, anta kandalunna helicopter ni manishi laga galada, just see the movies for enjoyment.

I like any movie that's unapologetic about what it wants to be. So I'm fine with a commercial Telugu movie that doesn't pretend to be something else. If a "realistic" movie has such issues, I'd rather just watch Sarileru Neelevvaru.
I felt the same when Fahad Fasil brought the kid back, but I realized later that it is just an excuse to show all three stars (Kammal, Fasil and Vijay) of the movie in the same frame. It was kinda nice to see them in single frame, but I did wish it was written well to be in some other kinda circumstance :D
I heavily disagree with the points you made regarding the predictability. The intention behind the 'cup-catching' and explanation of your girl getting killed scenes was foreshadowing. There's a difference between predictability and foreshadowing. Here the director intentionally added those scenes for foreshadowing

Movie makers are concerned about the reach to wide range of audience.. whistle pade scenes, goosebumps scenes, finances ivi anni drustilo pettukuntaru.. So, stop bitching about the movies and enjoy them if you can. And ding compare Indian movies with Hollywood movies because the audience base is very different. Indian movies are made to reach to Indian audience not just for critical reception.
Also don’t make this movie a revenge story; the protagonist’s vision is not just limited to revenge and has a broader mission of drug free society. For me, the movie is very well plotted giving meaningful predictable hints. STOP BITCHING ABOUT INDIAN CINEMA AND JUST WATCH HOLLYWOOD IF INDIAN CINEMA DOESNT CATER TO YOU.
1) Are you describing his age in movie point of view or his actual age, in the movie Kamal Hasan garu did a grandfather character that's it , no mention of '65 yrs' !
2) Talking about lag in the movie., with no story line they could have just finished the movie in 1 hour also "intros - fights - drugs - killings - the end" (I think intros also lag). Really man lag in the movie?? I don't know what more we have to expect.
3) Do you think the machine gun concept is irrelevant., what do you expect? using a 6 round pistol in a high-pitch climax.
In 3 movies the concept of using these guns is justified.

I really liked listening to your reviews so far., but the thing is, negative points are must irrespective of how well the movie is executed!
He is clearly super old and has a dad bot. It's impossible for even the strongest man in the world to throw 2 people at a time. They could've shown some good use of martial arts in the fight scene but they only did it for some extinct. Many scenes were just Kamal flexing his body and making Villians fly with one punch.

Coincidentally, I have seen 5 movies with 5 different movie making style. RRR, KGF 2, Sarkaru vaari paata , F3 and Vikram. All are good in their own way and how they set up and carry the movie.
RRR, a cinematic brilliance with theatrical story telling. [My Favourite]
KGF 2, a screenplay wonder and new age cinema making with all the elements required for an elevation. (It's like a 2 hr action packed trailer. Good, but you need that high or hook to connect)
Sarkaru vaari paata is a safe template by mixing all ingredients necessary for fantertainment. [Least impressed but few things are good and can't ignore the fact that it's made for fans]
F3, a non-sensical silly over-the-top animated comedy with hilarious set up and one-liners.(I know many ramanujans cry but as a movie it lived up to it's premise.)
Vikram, a pure exhilarating cinematic experience with zero distractions and unforced emotions unlike the above.
I believe none of the above movie making styles is superior to another and all are unique in their own way. So, I should accept the fact that there is a section of audience who likes it and dislikes it.
They all became success and there is a reason for it. They set up nicely and invite us into their world but question is do they live up to it instead of our liking or our eagerness to make fun of it.
Let's hope we get more of such different styles in the future!!

Bro I watched till 2:42 ur saying about songs right this movie is a different genre film so I think u cant compare that in this no songs are there and saying in telugu movies songs disturb the flow of the movie but I think in rrr the song was done to establish the bong between Raju and bheem and in Mahesh movie it's a regular commerical movie and it's meant to give entertainment to audience hence songs will be there but a movie like Vikram , there is no need of songs so u better compare movies ( thriller or the genre that Vikram follows ) that break the flow...
