It's interesting that you would size down in some of the knits I would size up in and up in some I sized down in. I'm usually a size 16 or XXL with Sezane. For the Lya I would have got a size XXXL if I was keeping it and I got the Leontine in the XL as the XXL was just too big! 😊🌟
Wow a lot of Sezane. I own the stripe Betty, 2 chloe's navy and bottle green oop's 3 ecru as well, love love them. i also own a couple of Pierro's and Tomboy's = shirts are my thing. I have another heavier cotton shirt which may be called ponnie but cant quite remember. after seeing the navy Betty I may just have to order as navy is my favourite colour to wear. Thank you for your in depth descriptions they really help as it is difficult to know what size to go for sometimes depending on how you want it to fit. I'm also in Bristol, are you North or South?

I can't wear any knitwear from Sezane....itchy as hell!:) I think they also mix their wools with synthetics, so long term you can't really take care of them (debobbling). No itch for me, no matter what! P.S I have exactly the same chlo shirt and love it.
Since you can only wear a certain amount of clothing and sezane isn’t the kind of clothing that we get rid of often, is it safe to assume that 80% of your wardrobe is sezane? I am planning on getting a lot of wear of the clothing I currently own and eventually incorporate a few more sezane pieces, currently I own two and they are forever pieces, xo.

I have a few pieces from & Other Stories, The Curated and similar brands as well but the biggest majority is Sezane :) I have built my collection up slowly over the last 3 years or so, and have completely stopped shopping at 'fast fashion' brands like Zara, H&M. I think your method is certainly the right way to go :)
Hi, please can you help me with sizing for Betty cardigan? I have been unlucky with Sézane sizing so far. I’m petite but with large bust and definitely top heavy! Sometimes I have to wear two sizes bigger for tops than bottoms. The website suggesting sizing up if you’re between sizes but I don’t want it to be longer in length. What is your bust measurement/ bra size? My bust measures 95 cm and I bought the Betty in M. It is fitted but not tight. If I take a deep breath, it creates an ever-so-slightly gaping at the upper button which resolves upon opening the upper button. When I wear the Betty as a jacket, there's no problem at all. I think that L would have fitted me nicely too. I would suggest that if you have a larger bust than mine, go for the L (or even XL). If you have similar bust measurement as mine and you want a fitted-but-not-tight cardigan that can be used as a jacket over t-shirts, button ups and non bulky jumpers, go for size M.
