@@lindah.1104 we have the wall mount, but have recently run into problems with it leaking quite bad and had to uninstall and reinstall it but it isnt too loud!
My 2018 hideout is pretty much the same as this new one. Looks very similar. Stereo sucks, the USB ports get really hot so I don't use them. A/C is the same. The cheap plywood under the queen bed was horrible and needed new hinges. Your talking about all those competitors having a wall at the bunk beds... LOL My 2018 Keystone Hideaway LHS has guess what!? A wall. Got the same little noisy furnace (works great though) The washroom sink is the same but this one is in a stupid location. The mirror is the exact same the tub/shower faucet is the exact same. The toilet is the same, as you demonstrated its loose and crackly. Does the job. Pass thru storage is the same. The tires lasted me only 4 years. Every year even with the best winter prep, the plastic PEX fittings had a leak. Not to mention from the factory had plastic fillings left in the fresh water tank that clogged up the pump and would not let it build up pressure. And then there was the awning crank gear. Lasted only a few years. Dealer wanted like $400. Got it on amazon for $80. Also the awning is the same as this and I find it too narrow. I'm sure they could have found a way to make it span wider. Them metal wheel wells are great though. No plastic crap to destroy when the cheap Chinese tires explode. Obviously targeted to people who are not in the know.
Are you pleased with your LHS? How has your experience been? I am checking out a unit my friend has for sale. I have 2 young kids (2 and 5yo). This would be our first unit getting into RVs.
@@khammer81 Its a great unit for a starter rig. Pretty much any 1/2 ton truck will pull it fine. Does what you need and fairly affordable. Just do your due diligence and maintenance. Also Take car of the roof. I found a leak on the front drivers side which kinda warped the interior wall but after I sealed it up its good.

Hey there So I just bought a 2024 hideout 175HB when I put my foot on the steps it felt like it was going to break the other years I liked the fold out steps so maybe you guys can change it again next year for that feature
What size are the bunks. The old one was 32x75. I hope this new one is the same so it fits adults comfortably. I hate how most of the bunk trailers have tiny bunks (70 inch's or less in length) that only fit kids...
What is the difference between the hideout series and the Springdale series?? I just got the Springdale 1700fq and there is an exact copy in the hideout except an additional front stabilizer. Also is there a way to add a front stabilizer to my Springdale 1700fq?
Looking at getting one of these as my first travel trailer. Split between this and the Coleman equivalent (the LT 17B). Can’t decide on which. In either case, I need one of them.

I love it. Definitely very well thought out, and you get a lot of features on a small camper. Feedback: I'd love to see the interiors of (all) RVs move to Browns & brown wood (cream, beiges, browns, black). Black or solid wood cabinets would be great (no white or gray plastic) I'd LOVE to see light brown faux leather seating. (SO much nicer and richer!) I'd like to see black appliances and oil rubbed bronze fixtures, door handles, etc. (A reading light by the bed, and a hanging ot wall light by the booth would be nice. For RVs with fireplaces, please install the faux wood fires, not the tacky neon fires) No More Tacky Neon Lights Anywhere.) Granite look countertops and table (browns, beige, creams, black mix) would look SO much better than the plastic or faux, white and gray marble, that looks so cheap. It would give them a richer, more high end look. One last bit of feedback. I hope you'll re-think the design on the outside of this RV. The verticle lettering on the side of this model looks awful. I'd love to see RVs in black & green (a moss or Army green would be cool!), or black & brown (a cocoa brown with copper metalic flakes would be very cool!), in a more simple looks (mostly plain -no striping). The idea of stripe patterns on RVs really needs to be retired. (It's so 1970s.) Also, with the number of women hitting the road now, having some new security features on RVs would make you stand apart. (i.e. more lights, deadbolts for doors, more secure screen doors, extra locks for windows, window film so people can't see inside, cameras on all 4 sides, panic alarm & strobe lights, a bull horn. You could also offer as an option, to spray undercoat on the bottom, and add some protection for remote camping, and install beefy, sporty, tires, and lights. (That would look great in the green/black model.) Thanks for reading my thoughts! ❤
I would love to see a window in the door for safety, a bigger btu AC, water temperature control in the bathroom and a recessed cooktop. This camper is close to perfect otherwise.
I bought one, it didn't come with stabilizing jacks in the front, why do sales people lie lie lie?? Don't get me wron, I still love my 2024 Hideout, but I don't like Lies. I bought mine from CAMPING WORLD in IDAHO FALLS.
So many people are split on murphy beds. The added seating is REALLY nice, but the bed isn't as comfortable or as easy to replace the mattress. You generally have to resort to using a topper. I do understand where you're coming from though! -Ian Baker
Keystone trailers are complete garbage! Major structural issues in the roofs and floors- windows are not properly set nor sealed correctly. They don’t countersink the subfloor screws or the roof and they don’t properly align the entry doors nor seal them correctly! Still thinking of buying one ? Get it inspected because the dealers PDI is not interested in protecting you & costing them a sale. Hire private inspection it’s worth it and you’ll thank me later
Don’t have to hire anybody do your due diligence. I have my own a Springdale 2010 BH everything in this world that is made needs maintenance and if not properly taken care of you get garbage that’s your answer. My RV runs extremely well my wife and I love it DIY it is taught even on TH-cam.
Just bought this exact trailer! Its perfect for my family of three just to have at home and take on small vacations!
Did you get stabilizing jacks in front as well as in the rear? My Dealership told me they dont come with them.
@@ChipEstrada Ours came with back stabilizers, none on the front though
Did you get the wall mount a/c or the roof mount? How quiet is the a/c? Thanks!

Same! Also Air Force! I went with the hideout. Picking it up this week!
Get the Springdale it will give you more options and more storage and a sink in the bathroom. More access points just better.
What I don’t like about it is that this is probably gonna give me no reason not to get one. 😂
Haha, I get that for sure!

Can a 4Runner tow it properly?
do you happen to know the lug pattern for the wheels? thanks
