Hey Grammar Hero! When I went to take the practice ASVAB on my recruiter office for the first time I got a 38. After watching your videos exclusively, I successfully took the PICAT and verified with a score of 88! All thanks you! Keep up the great work.

I feel like the overall amount of sections on the ASVAB makes it hard to test. If it weren't for the sheer amount of knowledge, under a timed environment with no calculator, it would be less daunting in some ways. Thanks for your videos, great review or if you're completely new to the info! Wish I had them in high school.
Working my way through the bootcamp.. Came across number 3 in the format of the steamboat question and that was the only one I missed this time around, hard to wrap my brain around those particular problems! But definitely getting better and seeing where my shortcomings definitely need to brush up on the geometry before AFOQT :).
You're welcome! The ASVAB likes to combine two or three really simple concepts together to make one difficult question; I think this video does a good job of showing you that!
I’ve been studying grammar hero for close to a month and I’m applying at least 4-5 hours everyday and my score when I took the ASVAB was a 16 so I’m hoping there’s a change in my score when I take the test in sept.
I watched so many of your videos and I progresses so well in the general knowledge parts like the math, arithmetic, and etc. But I have a question, do you have any videos that teach about the career part of the asvab like the electronics information or mechanical comprehension and etc.
Good question! Because the ASVAB is an aptitude test, you really don't want to study for those other subtests. Do your best, and you will end up in a job that suites you best!
for question number 2 instead of multiplying 800/1 by 1/4 i just turned 1/4 into .25, and then multiplied 800 by 25 (and moved the decimal place back afterwards). I got the same answer. If the answer is the same does it matter how its done?
Since it's a multiple-choice test, it doesn't matter. That said, you want to pay attention to how long it takes you to solve each question. Using decimals instead of fractions is usually slower.
How do you know it is at a 4th grade level? Did you graduate from school or get a GED? Have you taken a practice test with a recruiter? If you look in the community tab of my channel, you'll see that I recently posted something about how you should study for the ASVAB. Good luck!
@@GrammarHero I have an extremely hard time with division, multiplication, and subtraction. Not only that fractions are basically alien to me and everything above fourth grade. And since Algebra is critical for me to know, I have forgotten about it since freshman year of highschool. And to answer your question no, I haven't graduated from highschool. I'm a senior and never paid any attention to math. I took the ASVAB and got a 24. On October 15th I will retest.

Is there any way you can add practice questions on ur website?
My website used to be like that, but now, I just focus on making TH-cam content.

Hey Grammar Hero I found this Army ASVAB is that app any good you know ?
If it's made by the US Army, it's good to go. Don't use apps that charge money; most of them are not worth it.
