I didn't know so many people had such emotional attachments to Teddy's. Anyway I liked the gray version best. It could be a lawn decoration
Some have a sentimental attachment while others don't. I never did but whatever works. Right?
I'm in my 60s and still have my old teddy. He's falling apart, as am I. It's kind of fitting in a way... lol. He will not be getting covered in concrete. However, there are many unloved and neglected teddies suitable for these projects. 😁
Its kinda morbid to think about, but this would be a sweet thing for a child's tombstone... a way to keep their best friend close, it would need to be sealed really well though, and maybe encased in a glass box.

I really like this idea, because in the future when my daughters and son are older I can make them a flower pot with one of their old stuffed animals and paint it exactly how it looked before turning it into stone. So they can have a memory of it forever in their flower garden a gift of a lifetime. Thank you for this video & wonderful idea.

So do you have to seal the paint to keep the color ?? If so what sealer??
Is it me or has anyone else found in these videos, the items always look better in their raw form? They just end up looking cheap and nasty when painted.
You are right. But I guess it is a question of a different culture.
@Kirkhaus Britannia. … sorry .. maybe I should have chosen a different word .. But in Europe we tend to use different colors for these kind of things. Most videos from Asia showing cement projects always end up being coloured in very bright colors.

What a wonderful idea! Teddy gets a new life and can follow his human into adulthood without causing embarrassment!
I like the idea and prefer the gray natural look. Seems more whimsical in gray. I would have smoothed the fur better while wet and faced the end part of the rope of the bowl or honey pot under the bears nose. For a more finished look.

This is an excellent reuse of an unwanted toy.. And wow, I am guessing the folks who r angry, not sad,, but downright angry about the teddy being drowned have never been to a landfill.
Yes! You are 100% correct! At least it was repurposed and not dumped in the trash. Would that have been better??? I love this idea. I think I’ll be trying this myself.

Hi I think this is absolutely amazing well done very clever indeed.
And i think He's only painted the those colours to replicate the original bear as it was a pink bear. I like both to be honest. And as the title says it's for children and I think as its pink it's going to be for a little girl whom I believe would absolutely love it and prefer it the pink colour. But as I said I do like it both colours.

В ручных работах нет мелочей. Когда-то мастер нас учил: с изнанки должно быть так же красиво, как и с лица... В данной работе не учтены срезы веревки в кашпо и на коврике. Они оказались спереди на самом видном месте. Нужно было их повернуть, чтобы они не бросались в глаза: в коврике - назад, медвежонку за спину, а в кашпо - медвежонку под подбородок.... А сама идея интересная. Спасибо.

@@user-yf7dx2tu6l Здравствуйте, Слава. Какой раствор на видео я не знаю. Я бы взяла 1ч цемента+2ч песка+1ч бетонного клея+вода произвольно. Про силиконовую форму ответить затрудняюсь.

I think there was no need of dipping teddy bear into cement he/she can simply attach that with the help of fevicol or other gum.
