Hey Oz, I know you won't see this but I need to thank you. I started watching your MW3 (which was where I was struggling) because I had a very low KD. You helped me a lot particularly where you said that you needed to make goals for yourself. I started to do that and as I soon as I started playing Black Ops 2, I made a goal to get a UAV every match and as soon as I reached my goal, I started aiming for the Orbital VSAT. Now I get the Orbital VSAT almost every game. Once again, thanks Ozerec.

Hey Oz for the Type 25 I have been having a lot of success using it with a laser sight. Putting that on really makes it have a submachine gun feel. To go along with the laser sight I either use fast mags or a suppressor. Or I even slap on primary gunfighter and use all 3. For the perk 1 slot I use ghost, perk 2 either toughness or scavenger, perk 3 I use dexterity or extreme conditioning. You should give this loadout a shot because I have had a lot of success. Aggressive is still the way - just tone it down from mw3 balls to the wall. Theres no sitrep advantage or spawn rotation advantage (running spawn routes), so just push up until you cant anymore, and they passive it up, once reinforcements come, then continue pushing.
Of course this is a personal opinion, but I have to respectfully disagree. Many guns in BF3 received buffs early on and even in the last patch. DICE changes recoil, sway, damage, and attachment modifiers. I find that certain guns still dominate but I also find I can pick up just about any gun and on the right map and used in the right way and I do just fine. My experience in MW, MW2, & MW3 was that only certain setups work well in almost all situations. That of course is partially due to perks.
With silencer the gun uses a different ammo that isn't as powerful so there is less recoil. The game codes this in so you gain off the map advantage and recoil control but lose power down range. BF3 does this better than CoD, IMO.
hey oz. wondering what your SPM is. may soujnd really weird for asking this as i may sound like some kind of try hard but im curious. i have a 322 spm and say im average.
@Harrell Jabreel Manual killstreaks are fine and do damage. Swarm is just better but takes longer to get after vsat. I'm sure subs don't want tk see swarm n dogs every video either
carry on trying different guns until u feel comfortable with 1 (LMG's and shotguns are the easiest 2 use probably) and wen u find that gun try out score streaks that u normally get the same amount of killls in a life 4 example i usually get 8-13 kills in a life on TDM so i use hellstorm lightning and orbital VSAT if u get 3-5 kills in a life go 4 counter uav, uav and hunter killer maybe ? :D

You should try the m8 with select fire, grip, and stock. It's one of the few ar classes that is really good for rushing.

i'd say scar. its more cqb oriented anyways so you won't lose too much. besides, you can always use supp and fmj to balance it.
AN-94 with stock and silencer, ghost and hardline, scavenger and toughness and last dexterity really works for me

I couldn't use the Scar for the death of it. Maybe I'll try it out with a silencer to manage to recoil.
It's true having a suppressor on your gun increases recoil.
