  • Aoluguya means "a place with luxuriant poplar trees" in the Ewenki language. The Ewenki people are a nation that directly entered the socialist society from the end of primitive society in China. They are a cross-border ethnic group and are known as the last hunting tribe in China. They are the only people raising animals in China. The reindeer tribe is therefore called the "deer tribe".
The Ewenki are an ancient nation. They were hunting in the forest about two thousand years ago. After many migrations, some of them came to the Daxinganling Mountains from Russia and lived in this area for a long time. The ancestors who came to Daxinganling seemed to be very satisfied with this rich forest.
They raise reindeer, which are their good companions and travel tools; they have no fixed residence and migrate in the mountains and forests all year round; they use wood to make cups and leather to make clothes, all of which are made from natural materials. They are the Aoluguya tribe of the Ewenki nation.
