Omi was on the right track, pediatricians take care of kids. Pediatric oncologists take care of children with cancer. That was heartwarming that omi wanted to become one bc of her friends passing, that shows her heart 🥺❤️

I agree - why was she laughing at her ? Maybe that’s the way they get along but I think it wasn’t a good way to host a guest on your podcast.
@@Jeniv9820 I’m sure they’re great friends but Jenika wasn’t nice as like with her ex roommate friend ect. She was more like making fun of her :/ this video I didn’t really like her attitude with her.
I literally thought the same thing. Jenicka looked down at her in this video. Not cool, I don’t care how good friends you are. A real friend wouldn’t laugh at her this way.
My mom also did not listen to music when my grandpa died. She did not listen to it for a year.
Music is therapy for me and she thought I was being disrespectful listening to it. Thank you for sharing 🤍 I thought I was the only one.
I freaking love omi so much, you can tell she been through it but stays strong for her friends and family. 🥺💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 she’s my favvvvv
I can attest to what Omi said about not playing music when someone has passed. And from what I was told, it was only for a certain amount of time to allow them to rest (can’t remember how long). My dad passed away when I was 15 and listening to music was how I wanted to cope. My aunt didn’t let me play music at home or in the car. But now that I’m older, the songs that I did manage to listen to during that time, I am no longer able to listen to now as an adult. If I do hear a song that I remember listening to around the time my dad passed, it takes me back to that pain I was feeling as a teenager when I knew life would never be the same.
Maybe one day I’ll be able to hear this episode. having lost my mom to covid.. I can’t omit my heart goes out to you. From one grieving daughter to another I send you some of my strength on your hardest day and I send you a big hug 💖💖💖

When y’all were talking about working out and eating habits, that forsure hit. I’ve been able to lose 70Ibs and I’m 5’0 so it was noticeable, but breaking those bad habits was hard still is.. thank you for being you 💗

I’m sending you a huge hug Bcus I know it s a very tough situation to be in. Just know that communicating your feelings to him helps a lot and he needs to respect them. You either give yourself the space or time you need from him but let each other know that you guys will always be family and will be there for each other. Some things are just too hard to process 💖

I lost my irl mom a few years ago and the healing takes a bit. Having peace w8th it makes a little better. And she's right and never does go away you're gonna have moments where you're gonna cry because you missed them. As long as you know that your mother is not suffering more and she's in a better place than you should be a piece with it and she would be very proud of you for you both to be successful women and you know doing God's work.

Wow omi..thanks for speaking of your family. Your right not being selfish it isn't easy i know if i was in your shoes i don't think I'd be happy if my dad meet someone new after my mom. Props for you omi your a soldier.

I felt so bad when I started enjoying things after my moms passing. Like I felt like I shouldn’t be living 🥺 It’s about to be 4 years and I’ve learned to accept that this IS my life now & everyday I am learning to heal

Thank you so much for this. My mom passed Sept 2021 from Cancer and I took care of her together with my 2 siblings. My grief journey has been pretty difficult and I appreciate people openly talking about their experience.
My parents separated and i can completely understand when parents move on and accepting their new ways with their partners and seeing them do things that they didnt do with my mom/dad im like maybe if u guys would have done that u guys would still be together

I understand omi so much. I lost my dad in 2021 to COVID I feel guilty because I told him he would come back from being ventilated but he never did. I miss him so much
Healing never stops, and it’s so true. My mom passed away January 10, 2021 due to COVID and it’s and incurable ache.
Loved your advise but for me it was my dad who passed and my mom left with her boyfriend 2yrs after. It’s true you really have to feel your feelings to heal I cried until I could no longer cry. And just as you said now I’m happy and can remember my dad without being filled with sadness. And girl open that raspado shop especially with the California heat that’s just around the corner.

Similar to my life story , my mom passed away and months past my dad married my mom sister, I was only 2 years old when this happened. It was hard . BUT its really true what OMI said man cant be alone . Recently I lost my Step Aunt Mom too . Super hard for the family and Dad . ❤ my dad is my dad And I always going to love him no matter what .

Maybe your dad learned to cherish n value the person they have by their side, cause he can no longer express it to your mom, just like u learned and tell others to acknowledge their moms. I hope times brings you closure n comfort over this topic. You still have your dad to love and enjoy 💙
