Subnets is the networking area where your resources resides, a subnet having route through internet gw is public and subnet having route through NAT gw is private!

if we want to calclulate the number of ip address in a particular subnet range, we have to keep two things in mind i.e min of bits = 16, max number of bits=32, so to calculate the number of ip address in one particulare range use this formula :- 32- (Subnet mask)
2 ^ (32-(subnetmask))
