Thanks for these helpful uploads. Curls Blueberry Bliss Control Jelly may have changed the ingredients just like UFD as both include protein. The Curls jelly has 3 proteins near the top of the list: Keratin, Hydrolyzed Quinoa, and Silk Amino Acids. Be well.

Yes I was not with the UFD Curly magic either..at first. I was like all the hype...I don't get it🤷🏽♀️ Until I got my hair in a healthier state was Iable to realize how much my hair loved it as like a curl primer...bomb under a stronger gel!😍 TFS!
I have gotten great results with the Kinky Curly Custard and the Uncle Funky gel my favorite. I just started using the wetline I love to use that one in the summer. Thank you for your message they come after me too. I love your videos.

My goal this year is to give up my product junkie ways. So far I have narrowed down to 2 gel favorites and that Alikay Aloe Berry Gel gives me a beautiful light twist and braid out. As far as cream, I have a lot to get through but if they don't stack up to Camille Rose Almond Twisting Butter and Oyin whipped Pudding, I'll be getting rid of it. For moisturizers it has to stack up to Qhemet Alma and olive and that Burdock Root Cream then It will have to go. I'm try to pear down to 2-3 products in each category by year end.
That's a nice goal. I have the aloe berry gel and I said I was going to try it for a twist out. Now that you say you like it, I have higher hopes for it. What leave in do you use under it? Also, what is your 2nd gel?
@@NaturalRaeRae It's the Mane Choice Pearly Glaze Braid out. I am not big on the tackiness but the smell and results are amazing. I do want to try that other Alikay gel you showed today. I've heard nothing but good things.
I used the curl maker for the time last week paired with the curl love and it really gave my hair alot of volume which I liked. I have fine, low to medium density so I prefer volume over definition and it definitely did that! I too will say the curl maker is not that mositurzing on it's own, definitely needs a moisturizing leave in underneath it.
I agree. I think the Uncle Funky's Daughter is a little more moisturizing. If you liked the Curl Maker, you'll probably love the UFD. Thanks for tuning in!

I tried to like Kinky Kurly But, it’s a NO for me. It didn’t even work well with the Knot Today Leave in. I was very disappointed. Maybe I got a bad batch but I will not be repurchasing.

The Kinky Curly product is sticky, but I’ve found if I sit under the hair dryer to dry, it comes out great!

I use the wetline and uncle funky's daughter. I want to try the alikay lemon grass gel. The next time they have a sale.
It's really strong hold, nothing like the UFD. So be prepared for that and make sure you moisturize really well under it. I love it, though.

The uncle funky curly magic says hydrolyzed wheat protein in the ingredient list ?
That's what the debate is about. They're ingredient lists are not consistent on their bottles.

Some people are protein sensitive so they want to use products with no protein.
