I saw them last night in Sterling Heights, Michigan. They are amazing Live. They put so much work into their show. You can see the joy of performance on their faces. I was stage left, very close to the rail. I could see the curtained entrance to the stage from which they entered and left the stage. Most times, they were giggling and cutting up as they came onto stage. It was wonderful to see!
Trilogy of Lights.....Shine, Starlight, and Arkadia. Starlight is by far my favorite of the 3. Gets you all in the feels then....BAM!!! Kami band melts your face off and Su is pure heavenly

It was their response to the sad and tragic events happened in late 2017 and early 2018 with Yui leaving and Mikio's untimely passing. And it's about the stages of mourning. "Starlight" is about the initial stages: denial and anger and fans suppose that it's a tribute to Mikio and probably also dedicated to Yui. The other two songs are "Shine" and "Arkadia" and, believe it or not, are even better (in my opinion). The trilogy closes the dark side of the Metal Galaxy album (2019).

'Arkadia' is about looking to the future and better times to come. It has never been said by anybody associated with BABYMETAL, but most fans believe the trilogy is a tribute to Kami Band guitarist Mikio Fujioka (RIP) who tragically died on 5th January 2018 after falling from an observation deck where he had been stargazing ... it is just fan speculation, but it is hard to believe there isn't something in it, especially given the lyrics of 'Starlight' - "Wherever we are we'll be with you We'll never forget shining starlight. Wherever you are live in my heart We'll never forget shooting star." and the Legend M performance in particular of 'Shine' would also suggest there is something in it. The other two songs are Shine and Arkadia, which are also amazingly good. Mikio was always smiling and very, upbeat positive person. Reacting to the whole trilogy would be a great thing to do, even if you did this reaction. The girls were really affected by this as they basically grew up around him and Kami Band.
A small disclaimer. The band has never officially stated that any part of the Trilogy of Lights is about Mikio. It's a really wholesome theory which might very well be true given the circumstances of his untimely passing but we simply don't know the truth. Especially considering piano version of Shine was used in Legend S concert during some lore stuff so atleast Shine was already in the works even before Mikios passing.

Hitomi Nishiyama, a jazz pianist and BM fan, pointed out the same thing saying "Starlight is a well-crafted song. The main part of the melody uses "do, re, mi, fa, so (C, D, E, F, G)" only." Hitomi added "vowel of the long tone is always 'a' sound. Composer created it intentionally, I guess" [Japanese Magazine "Headbang" vol. 24, Page 121 (an interview with Saki, Nemophila)]

Both loved to star gaze (Mikio was tragically killed by an accidental fall from an observation tower while star gazing at age 37 and succumbed to his injuries days later leaving behind a wife and son). Yui of course left the band in 2018 due to health reasons and these three LIVE performances (2019) supposedly honor them. The second song is Shine LIVE (my favorite BabyMetal song) Moa supposedly is recorded playing the acoustic guitar on the backtrack to the song and in the very first LIVE performance of Shine she was shown "playing" the guitar while Suzuka rises up behind her. Only Suzuka and Moa performed because they were the two who knew them and performed with them personally. All other LIVE performances had Suzuka, Moa and an Avenger.
Do you understand the meaning of the word supposedly? And where do you get the idea that it has never been confirmed unofficially? I never said confirmed but "unofficially" it is all over the fan base.
This is an outstanding song and I love Babymetal. However, the next song in the trilogy is one of my favorites. It is nearly impossible to single out any song by them, but if I were to try I would say No Rain No Rainbow, Shine and of course Monochrome. Those are just some of my favorites. All of their music is exceptional and hopefully I will find you in LA.

I saw them in NYC this past Friday and they didn't do any of the Trilogy songs. I don't know what the playlist for your show will be.
