When the right time comes, there will be a lot of Philippines schools (elementary, high school, colleges) will be named Maria Ressa. This is how you show appreciation to your national pride and treasure, the only Nobel laureate of the Philippines.
I have a suggestion or proposal that might could beneficials for the Philippines towards fighting for disinformation and strengthening press freedom. what if those educated people like maria ressa fucoses mainly about the citizens rather than the system of media. we must utilized the power of learning and awareness towards the people. how disinformation hinders our democracy, what impact did disinformation do and why we should fucos finding the truth than just absorbing information. since majority of citizen in the philippines are poor they dont have time fact checking information because they are too busy finding what to put in the plate. therefore the best way to fight for disinformation is through education
