As easy as the access is to that amazingly productive creek I'd think it'd be overrun by anglers, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Those gorgeous browns were literally jumping into your pockets. Doesn't get much better than that. Nice work Jared!
BANG RIGHT OFF THE BAT!!! Immediate hook up, fight, and release of back to back gorgeous Brown Trout only a precursor of many good fish to come. ABSOLUTELY LEFT NO DOUBT the DT Ragnarok 400 plus Brent's Warbird virtues seen in full display. Viewers got back the price for admission on this vid, thanks Jared!! LOL
Sorry for the late response. I used level line in the video, but I started out using furled line as I began my tenkara journey. I prefer level line now. But furled I feel is easier to cast. Hope this helps!
Nice video, enjoyed watching. I’ve been fishing with the Mizuchi rod for the last few weeks and been doing well with it. I would like a longer rod for no tree streams. Does the Ragnarok have a good balance to it. I’ve been looking at that one and the Mutant. Look forward to more videos!
Thanks Jblocker! The Mizuchi is a great rod by the way, I really enjoy it for smaller streams and if there is a big trout I can muscle it my way. The Ragnarok has great balance to it, its ny new favorite tenkara rod! You will see more of it in upcoming videos. The mutant is shorter, so if you are look for a longer rod on open streams look no further imo! The Mutant is solid too, though shorter. I have my link for DT in the description if you like to snag it from there! Hope this helped! Glad you are enjoying the videos and thanks again!
@@tenkaragenki If you already had a Hellbender and Talonmini, would you go with the Ragnarok or Mizuchi if you were looking for something that will cast a lighter fly but have the backbone for bigger fish? Or just get both? LOL
@@Shamus3 🤔 great question! You can't go wrong with either imo, it depends on if you are fishing bigger streams or cow pasture where you need a little bit longer reach or stealth. I'd chose the Ragnarok 400. If you are on a smaller stream in the mountains or smaller stream in general where you can't cast bc of heavy brush or there is potential for a solid fish that you want to horse out of a small spot, definitely the Mizuchi! Both will cast a light kebari well, but the Ragnarok will cast better overall imo. Hope that help!
Wow, that was crazy and awesome. I'm blown away.
Me too! Especially for February in WI! Thanks for watching Kevin!
That was more like treasure hunting than fishing. Great vid and you got a new subscriber 👍
Haha! For sure! Thanks Ray!
I just ordered this rod and those Brent Warbird flies. They better catch more fish than David does.
Ooooooo Linnae, you are going to love it! You will, Dave sucks at tenkara! 😜
Got it yesterday and it’s all geared up and ready to fish.
@@linnaecarlson4546 oh shit! 😁 Let me know how it goes!

Yeah, I thought that too. It's near a bigger more well known stream, so maybe that has something to do with it. Thanks again as always Gary!
🤩🤩😎
Lots of action
Oh yeah! Thanks as always Carlos! 🙌

Lol you said it Vic! Great combo for sure! Thanks dude!
That's the best creek! Tenkara so stealthy, great vid Tiger!
Tenkara is awesome! Thanks 🐯Bro!
Awesome video
Thanks Sean! 🙌
Love it
Thanks Ken!
Were you using level line or furled line? Which line type do you prefer?

Have you been back to fish this creek since this video? Did you actually count how many fish you caught?
I did go back to test out the Seiyu Therapy tenkara rod! No, way too many to count! 🤣
