I went back to blues and it took about a week total to do. I either bought cheap blues on the AH or got them from farming dungeons, and then traited them either on the AH or from farming dungeons as well. I would recommend doing only contracts with rare polished crystals if you decide to go back to blues, as you will need them to craft growth stones to level your new blue gear up. The process is not that bad, and might run like 500 - 700 lucent to get gear and trait it out, but then you’re just stacking lucent from thereafter until T2 so, to me it was worth the investment. Little too basic to just say "Only use blues" You should upgrade your blues as much as you can... And research what your best in slot Purple is. Switch to that Purple asap and unlock level 1 in all 3 traits. Now you can use all other purples with same trait to upgrade your best in slot. If you just slam upgrade that purp with lucent you earned to max then you might find 3 to 6 upgrades of that trait later on and that means you wasted quite a bit by rushing to upgrade instead of filling your epics with natural loot over time. Thats why i think getting best in slot purples all with x3 level 1 traits is the most important step. Then all loot you find with traits you need can be slammed into your gear to save you lucent down teh road.

gear score doesnt rly matter that much if u cant hit anything.i agree most of what u say but ur hit chance very low with 650.str 50 heavy attack is good but if u dont have hit chance it doesnt rly matter u have heavy attack.dusk blood mask and purple heroic tunic for the chest would make it 900 at least.and find blues that gives u perception and get the mana with skills and passive skills.u gonna realize u hitting harder.30-35 str is enough to survive.damage more important because u gonna die either way.but this way u grind faster
@@EhJay_Plays hit chance only matters in PvP and with 650 you aren’t hitting much other than other people who have not progressed their gear yet. Aim for 1000 hit, 60 perception, 40-60 dex. 50 strength is nice for the 5% double attack chance but more important for pve. Every now and than it does one tap people in PvP too tho and I so run 50 strength too
@@west7757hit chance matter everywhere.thats how game works if u hit more they die faster.noone one goes for 60 dex unless u playing crosbow dagger.just because he has toublek it doesnt mean he has to go dex all the way.50 str is for pvp for the 100 heavy attack not double attack. and purple gear.since he doesnt prefer purple gear so he gonna have to sacrifice one.i mean if he had umbramancer going 50 str is easier.and then it makes sense going for 50 str and 60perc.but going for above 40 dex pointless for bow staff.and hitting those numbers u say for the stats is problem for blue gear.u dont have many choice like purple gear.
@ dex is the only stat that adds 2 points per 1 point invested to your max damage number and provides crit plus move speed for kiting so to say nobody goes dex past 40 and it’s pointless is simply not true, however I cannot speak for bow staff but for bow dagger people absolutely take dex to the move speed buff for kiting, crit and max damage since it directly boosts both your crit and max damage number (strength adds to the min number). Remember if you’re mainly hitting crits your max number is more important.
@ also, heavy attack is a regular attack that hits the damage twice so technically a double attack but sure it’s called a heavy attack I get it.. 100 is around 5% extra chance and I do use it for PvP however it will not trigger as often as you think in PvP it’s more beneficial in long fights PvP fights typically end In seconds
Combat power isnt a big deal if your build has no synergy cause you can have a high CP and have terrible crit ,hit ,evasion etc just because the items dosnt have any stats in common. Im almost sure everyone has at least 1 build that requires 1 blue just because it makes sense and add the stats you need to reach whatever you goal is in whatever stas.

Just get some random +9 blue gears, get the cheapest traits, and feed them to your +7 34% purple. For DPS, weapons are the most important (which is arguably the only thing they actually need). I have an alt with just the purple weapons not even max traited and easily clearing all dungeons and I don't even care that much about armors/acce since it's just to farm lucent. CP is just a number BTW, a BIS gear with max traits has the same CP with a shitty purple with max shitty traits.
CP itself still has a massive impact on experience ever since the matchmaking changes. You don't get the same teammates at all at 2k or 3k CP At 2k you have teamates with low DPS falling mechanics and jailing you once in a while. At 3k you have speedrunners who know every skip and timesave and burst down bosses before their first mech
@@ninetyninenights6226Yes, absolutely. There still is some variance, specially at times of the day were matchmaking isn't crowded, but I can say without a doubt that since random matchmaking buff update _(where changelog itself said it was now a feature)_ my experience on 3k main and 1.8-2.3k alts has been very different
@@Jugement Not on my end. My 2.2k alt gets matched with 3k+ all the time. I ain't complaing though since it's easy runs. My main on the other hand gets the short end of the stick since I have to deal with lots of "first timers", I even had to teach one the mechanics of the boss.

Do not worry about if you have dumped your blues into your purples. This is easy to remedy. 1. Wear all your purples. These are still fine, you can easily do dungeons and contracts with a full set of level 9 untraited gear. 2. Trait and Sell your blues and future purples. 3. Sell the traits and buy the extracts to trait your purples. 4. Start dumping all of your blues and purples you get into the traits you unlock. All of this takes time unless you swipe.
You don’t need full purple for T2 lol. Maybe you’re thinking of T3 or those people are lying to you so you buy all their T1 traits at a huge upcost before they crash lol
Yeah I half agree and disagree. Sure, for pve, you can afford this. But for pvp, good luck. The only benefit you get from fully traitong your blues to transfer into purple, is 800 blessing points 😂. Which gives you rougly a 80% chance to get the trait on an upgrade from a blue. 1 time. Oh and the xp obviously, 3 levels up or 1.5 if you level the purple to 7.5 first.
Well good thing I am PvE only and don’t PvP, so it has been working wonderful for me! The point is so you are not stuck at low CP, transferring into purples in the future is something in addition, but not the point!
@@EhJay_Plays if you do not plan to PvP this is not the game for you for much longer and you’ll likely get tired of it since the game is designed to gear your PvP character via pve content. If you’re only playing pve in TNL you’re basically playing the single player campaign in call of duty.
Nah purple traits is much cheaper now compaired to blue traits specially the accessories. Your Gear score is 3.1k but your stats is just decent for pve. For me is just a waste of lucent if your still gonna change to purple. With 1 max trait blue you only get 2 trait upgrade with blessing in purple. Just make an alt character and all items just sell it. I have 3.6k main and 2.9k alt (with garbage purple). Skill and passive skill also upgrades your gear score. In my alt char i just run garbage purple but i focus on skills and passive upgrades. I sold and earned about 20-30k lucent both but my alt probably around 15-20k lucent earnings. Making an alt just make the difference because you can get the purple item there with trash trait but can use trait convertion and then just sell. (You can do this once weekly) Since your first gs was so low your probably been saving up your trait unlock and convertion stones 😂 which will slow your progression.
On my server pruple traits are not much cheaper compared to blues, still very expensive! Also, yeah its been great for PvE, don't struggle with anything, PvP would maybe not work out though however, I don't PvP. My point is you can stay at fully traited blues and stack your lucent for T2, instead of going to purples now when it's about to change, potentially wasting lucent! Yeah I am soo greedy with stacking my unlock and conversion stones, but at this point I wanna save them for T2 lol
not really i have purple too but i change some of my build to blue because its align more with my build and also theres already a recorded video where a pvp between a f2p and whaler, whale wit ha fully traited purple with tevant vs an f2p some blue gear and still manage to kill the whaler, its a 4-1 score in favor of f2p player with some blue gear not fully max lmfao its not about the cp, its about the actual build lol you wont believe it because you dont actually experiment and build stuff but for me since im always at questlog to simulate alot of status, blue gear is superior at some build the only problem with them is the defenses but in pvp a fully geared purple can be beat by a fully blue gear if you just know how to build
@ Yeah just keep it that way for now and wait for t2 dungeon announcement this month (Probably after holloween event) You can still play and progress this game with blues. But if you have active guild in conflict boss you must have purple set. Im done with my T1 set, just stacking up lucent for now. Note: When T2 dungeon release it wont come with T2 gears, but it will have world boss armor set drops (Field general, Shadow, Phantom etc) so price if this items will go down eventually.
@ if its 1v1 probably evasion or against sns/gs sns/wand ofcourse he will lose hahaha or skill build or character build. If its all the same type and the spender loses then he is just not good at the game. Its crazy people think blue is better when purple has 4 trait level upgrade and some 3 stat base. Its rock paper scissor type game you wont dominate all in 1v1 scenario. Only max blue trait 1. if your goin for melee evasion build (less dmg but can 1v1 SNS/GS) or 2. Your a dps with low hp and survivability) I have hit/melee evasion build but im regreting it, i should have gone field and shadow 2pcs for more dmg. Right now i only have 2 pcs Field and if i had not gone melee blue evasion i probably be at 3.7k+ now.
gap between spender and f2p is not that big now again because f2p already catching up with their traits, but when rune system release you will feel it again. Anyway all i want is my boss loot drop or selection chest when???? hahahahaha

i am actually in a similiar situation. should i just go back to blue gears? how did u changed ur traits that u dont want. its can be pretty expensive.
Let me know if that helps, I could make a video going over how to go from purples to blues if people need it!
@EhJay_Plays it would be better if u add a purple weapon tab in questlog as it will help people to know what items to item in their downtime!
Oh look you're over 500 subs now, goodjob!
@@fheycg2301 I am, I can’t believe it… I have another video already done, edited, and uploaded talking about reaching for 500 🤣 this is crazy and I’m so thankful to everyone
Violent Signet is very expensive when you stack the best traits
@@musikausdemosten VERY, but still cheaper than Purples LOL
Was just going to say that lol cause there's no way your fully traited for 1100 when just violent signet traits are high 300
Little too basic to just say "Only use blues"
You should upgrade your blues as much as you can...
@@dirtpoorchrisyou can always work to BIS purple if you want, I’d rather just sell the traits rn, rebuy them later as they keep falling in price, and stack for T2, but I also don’t pvp so to each their own!
But, if you use all your trait stones and sollant on blue items, won't it take longer to finally get the purple ones you want traited?
You shouldn’t be using any trait unlock stones on blue items, and the sollant/lucent cost is REALLY cheap compared to purples - so no, not really!
Litrally every guy in general chat before boss: lfg 3400gs dps 😂😂
HAHA, I’ve never had an issue at 3,200 but maybe others have?
I’m sorry To say but the time and effort you put into that blue fully traited you could have maxed out at least 2 traits on each of your purples Making it better than fully traited blues. I spent 2,600 lucent..(Free to Play)and I have everything purple besides my belt and I’m 3652. Also there Are so many ways to get Traits without using lucent. I lvled Both of my weapons with guild coins from buying the blue weapon chests and using those traits.
@@cool_me5331 i spent like 500 lucent and I can now chill and sell everything purple to stack lucent for T2 gear, to each their own, but this was way better for me than being stuck at 2500 forever!
I'm broke already, don't have growth stones blues to upgrade weapons and armor to 9 T-T, maybe creating a new char is faster...
@@NaN00994 i farmed all the needed growth stones in like a week, just do all blue polished crystals contracts on your dailies
I don't really like the idea of spending so much time traiting blues just to have to do it again on purples. You don't even get to keep those traits on your new purple. Seems like time better spent working on non Boss Purple set and farming trait stones.
As f2p i have not been able to max out traits on 1 blue item from drops. I have all purples except 2 items and just got 3 traits on my purple ring.
Well its extremely easy to do on blues, it took me like a week and maybe 600 lucent... now, I can sell all my purples (while they're still worth something) and stack lucent for T2, but to each their own!
I swip pretty hard but didn't start until I had a blue kit fully maxed out so I didn't have to spend very much i had a boat load of trait unlock stones so that saved me a load the thing I spent the most on was my queen staff 60k lucent I snagged it for 45k lucent came from selling traits and good gear
DAMN LUCKY! Nice
gear score doesnt rly matter that much if u cant hit anything.i agree most of what u say but ur hit chance very low with 650.str 50 heavy attack is good but if u dont have hit chance it doesnt rly matter u have heavy attack.dusk blood mask and purple heroic tunic for the chest would make it 900 at least.and find blues that gives u perception and get the mana with skills and passive skills.u gonna realize u hitting harder.30-35 str is enough to survive.damage more important because u gonna die either way.but this way u grind faster
I have no issues hitting stuff but, I will look into changing stats around as I’m pretty clueless when it comes to them
@@EhJay_Plays hit chance only matters in PvP and with 650 you aren’t hitting much other than other people who have not progressed their gear yet.
How do you got the armor growthstone to upgrade the blue armor after you spent it all for the purple?
Rare polished crystals from daily contracts and dissolve junk gear for dust!!
@@EhJay_Plays but then you lose the chance to get blessing on the purples for easier trait upgrades right?
Combat power isnt a big deal if your build has no synergy cause you can have a high CP and have terrible crit ,hit ,evasion etc just because the items dosnt have any stats in common. Im almost sure everyone has at least 1 build that requires 1 blue just because it makes sense and add the stats you need to reach whatever you goal is in whatever stas.
Yeah, you can’t use completely random armour, but I found the most similar blues to my BIS purples and then put on the same, or as similar as I could get, traits that BIS gear would have, to sort of replicate it at a smaller “blue scale”
@@EhJay_Plays Yes you did a good job with that honestly but this is more for the people that didnt pay attention to that or didnt understand why you would go blue over purple… max blues is the most affordable way for f2p peeps to play pve mainly
Agreed!
how do you buy traits for blue gear do i buy extracts?
@@Flaxko-97 extracts from the auction house! Yes, or, you can use any you farm during your play! I will make a trait video eventually, just need some time to prepare
Yeah, I'm loving the all blue gear with full traits with BIS Weapons, honestly can do everything I want to do in the game!
CP itself still has a massive impact on experience ever since the matchmaking changes. You don't get the same teammates at all at 2k or 3k CP
At 2k you have teamates with low DPS falling mechanics and jailing you once in a while. At 3k you have speedrunners who know every skip and timesave and burst down bosses before their first mech
@Jugement are you sure about that? My 3.5k cp main gets matched with people with blue/green weapons all the time. And this is just a few minutes ago.
I would start working on having some blue items ... with just crap cheap traits on them ... for transferring into the epic pieces you want later !! that way you can keep using the blue piece you got on ,, while transfer blessing into the epic piece !! using that crap blue gear item
Ill subb to you AJ!!!

I would kinda agree, I struggled a lot more doing dungeons with 9 purples untraited than fully traited blues, significantly more! But, mostly agree!

its ok to use epic gears when all traits are level 3
@@lazyffoeg4041 yes! Just getting there is hella expensive!

(You can do this once weekly)
Since your first gs was so low your probably been saving up your trait unlock and convertion stones 😂 which will slow your progression.
Yeah I am soo greedy with stacking my unlock and conversion stones, but at this point I wanna save them for T2 lol
not really i have purple too but i change some of my build to blue because its align more with my build and also theres already a recorded video where a pvp between a f2p and whaler, whale wit ha fully traited purple with tevant vs an f2p some blue gear and still manage to kill the whaler, its a 4-1 score in favor of f2p player with some blue gear not fully max lmfao
its not about the cp, its about the actual build lol you wont believe it because you dont actually experiment and build stuff but for me since im always at questlog to simulate alot of status, blue gear is superior at some build the only problem with them is the defenses but in pvp a fully geared purple can be beat by a fully blue gear if you just know how to build
@ Yeah just keep it that way for now and wait for t2 dungeon announcement this month (Probably after holloween event) You can still play and progress this game with blues. But if you have active guild in conflict boss you must have purple set. Im done with my T1 set, just stacking up lucent for now.
Note: When T2 dungeon release it wont come with T2 gears, but it will have world boss armor set drops (Field general, Shadow, Phantom etc)
so price if this items will go down eventually.
Anyway all i want is my boss loot drop or selection chest when???? hahahahaha
