10:27 fun fact, when Cole explained the video to Eminem he didn't understand what he was talking about 😂 Em said "I guess I'll have to trust you on this one"
I haven't heard anyone else say the reason his arm was cut was to take away his pen game. Unbelievable catch, this guy is the best breakdown reactor out there, and that is coming from someone who is also a reactor
I said that and his right arm coming out during the graveyard teaser. This is a conceptual album so it tells a story so it supposed to be listened to in track order.
@@mihlalintlebi1861 well definitely no hate here, and I am without a doubt a small reactor lol. I’m so glad for this channel cause I’m tired of explaining Eminem’s lyrics to every person in my life 😂😂 so now I get to tell them to just watch Knox Hill videos! What a relief!
This song is for the rappers, no regular person could ever catch all the bars like you do. You are amazing, thank you. Definitely, Tobey is a masterpiece, and Em, Babytron and Big Sean are the big three of Detroit.
The outline must be a hint back to When I'm Gone....... "Have you ever loved someone so much, you'd give an arm for? Not the expression, no, literally give an arm for"
Shady is Ems alter like a mirror image. So Shady writes with his right hand while Em writes with his left. That was Shady cutting off Ems ability to write cuz he’s taking over
In the cityscape during the storm, the tallest building in the distance looks like it has an "M" written in lights on the front. And the building looks to me like the building from the "Houdini" video where the Slim Shady - Eminem showdown occurs.
Love how you actually broke down the cut off arm, into em 's greatest weapon as he writes with it. Most people, hang up on the flipping very. Sharp mind knox Love it
I am not sure if everybody noticed it too, but the arm being cut off is also a Star Wars reference bringing it all the way back to the first bars. The chalk outline had an arm cut off. In a famous scene, Obi-wan Kenobi cuts off an arm in the movie, A New Hope. Then in all the Star Wars movies made after it, its an ongoing theme that someone always gets an arm cut off.
This guy at White Castle asked for my autograph, so I signed it, "Dear Dave, thanks for the support. Asshole!" I just KNEW you would connect the reference! Why does it feel like I'm the only one?? 😭😭🤣🤣
9:25 as sean says he is omnipresent and has no reflection his eyes and teeth are the only thing that doesnt disappear. Also at 13:00 Em even pauses to put emphasis on the lines empire state before continuing by saying building

like everyone says, when ur on a track with Em you gotta go above and beyond to not get bodied on it, and i will say, Big sean and BabyTron came with FIRE they knew what was up.
Its crazy to think I started watching reaction videos Im assuming as they started to become a thing.... like during the early pandemic days. Back then No life Shaq was the only one I had seen, and didnt know it was a thing, so i just watched him. I thought he was funny, but he didnt understand even like a quarter of the lines and references that I did, and Im no genius. Eventually Knox came on my radar, and I havent looked back. This dude just knows and hears every line, its a really great skill. Love his breakdowns. The only other guy i watch and enjoy is Stevie Knight, got a lot of respect for that dude as well. Its just wild cause i started wacthing both of them when they had like 100k subs or so..... and look at Knox now, and know Stevie is in the high 800ks. Knox is truly the king of this breakdown game.
I've mentioned this loads of times on different video's, especially when people say that Em doesn't say anything or that his bars are simple. Watching Knox made me realise how much of a genius Em is and how little I've noticed over the years, i tell everyone they need to check out Knox Hill and they will have a different view and understanding of Ems music which will show why so many of us say Em is the goat and is on a different level. As someone once said Em is the word bender.
@@waynelowe3329💯💯 cause Eminem is for real way too smart for the general public. He has his doctorate degree in lyricism while everyone else in the game is still in school
2 fun facts I've learned in watching the numerous reactions to this. 1. This is actually Baby Trons track and when Em heard it he wanted on it according to Cole Bennett. 2. The eerie beat is from a 1977 horror film called "Suspiria" 🔥🔥 reaction and breakdown as always @Knox Hill
its finally time for knox hill to react and break down eminems album. I expect a full breakdown of the album eventually as a very long video if possible. being that it was stated that the album should be listened to front to back. I know you can do it.
Knox didn't get the Star Wars reference though. The arm being cut off is also a Star Wars reference bringing it all the way back to the first bars. The chalk outline had an arm cut off. In a famous scene, Obi-wan Kenobi cuts off an arm in the movie, A New Hope. Then in all the Star Wars movies made after it, its an ongoing theme that someone always gets an arm cut off.
Exactly. Cutting off his left arm means no more calm Marshall or playful Eminem songs after this cause Slim Shady is taking over in the upcoming songs in this album. Look at his challenging facial expression and body language at the end. Shady’s coming for you.
I think I solved the riddle of the final image (middle finger on the chack line): He is left handed. So he can still use his left arm to kill with the pen. The middle finger on the severed arm is him saying: (You didn't kill Slim Shady yet). WOW.
That didn’t make sense. If his left arm is cut off, how can he still use it? I think the middle finger was him just simply giving the middle finger while being chopped up. Also his line in his verse about “always having middle finger up, but never conceded”
@MJD925 I think it did made sense because yeah, he might of cut off his left arm, which he physically writes with, but that's not technically his weapon. It's his mind, which is where the raps come from and his tongue because of his ability to spit the way he does. Nowadays you don't need hands to write down rap verses.

I know I have said it before, but I will say it again. I love how you make others actually l i s t e n to the music and not just the words being said. Giving music a whole new meaning to others that only see/hear it at a surface level. Thank you for that.
When Eminem says, “…Me? Must of got bit by at G.O.A.T I used to dream as a kid I would grow to be one. The back of the uniform says “New Detroit Stampin” that’s where B Rabbit worked in the factory in 8 mile when he was poor and coming up. That’s the factory reference.
Knox breakdowns could make me appreciate anything
Missed that Flintstones reference when Babytron says “Bam Bam down three hits the grand slam” referencing Bam Bam always carrying that bat
Knox, did you forget about The top 50 rappers by Scott Van Pelt? He put Eminem at number one. There’s a shout out as well.
Just one more day, ladies and gentlemen.
Eminem- Renaissance, Lucifer … shots fired.
New album is🔥🔥🔥
The way you breakdown the lyrics and pointed down the music video, man, you are the true artist. Always like to watch your reaction.
