Oogsplits 8 strengen

Een oogsplits maken in een gevlochten touw met 8 strengen.
Instructie werd gegeven door A. Stout, van Lankhorst Ropes in Dordrecht.

Vroeger in mijn tijd bij Wijsmuller heel veel rekkers van 18 duim gesplitst. Met kous. Leuk om dit te zien.

It looks better if you split the first 2 you speared in.you can also taper this splice by halving and cutting the 8 tails when halfway through the splice.
