Hello. We are not sure if anybody has asked the question to FIRST, but looking into the latest challenge updates, there is nothing on this specific topic yet. The three pages in the robot game rulebook that are important to answer your question are page 14 on which Mission 14 Audience Delivery is described. The description does not have any limitation for the audience members touching anything else, so we should be good having the minifigs touching team equipment or other things. The important part is that the audience members have to be completely in their target area to score. Then on page 15 Mission 15 Expert Delivery is described and again there is no mention of the Experts not being allowed to touch anything else. Both of these are confirmed on the score sheet on page 31 where neither scoring section for neither Mission 14 nor Mission 15 lists any specific condition about touching other things. In addition to these references page 16 has the “catch-all” statement that “All robot game wording means precisely and only what it says. If a detail is not mentioned, it does not matter.” All these combined to us mean that there are no limitations in place to combine the audience members with other elements or team equipment. We would suggest to memorize these sections of the rulebook or have a copy on the sidelines of the match in case the referee has an issue to show the different sections mentioned above to clarify the ruling. We hope this will help you and wish your team good luck at your competitions. ⚙️⚙️
Hello, we are a new team in Canada. Can I ask how do you make your robot moved so smooth and turned so accurately. Do you use word blocks or Python to program?
Hi. We use word blocks and do all of our driving and turning with the help of the yaw angle sensor. Mostly it is about speed. Especially with the big wheels on the ADB, we hardly ever move faster than 40% power and 15% for turning. Let us know if you need more help with this. ⚙️⚙️
Is there anything dragging against a the right wheel or on the table at the right side of the robot? Or if you suspect the motor to be faulty, you could swap the right and left motor to see if the robot now goes left. Did you set your drive motors to the ports you connected them to? ⚙️⚙️

part 1 of the fll competitin is in the day after tomorrow and i am very excitet . we have 315 points and we wont to make our point abaut 400 for 1 month . how do you think 315 point is ok for part 1 of fll and 400 point is ok for real fll competition
Hello. How many points will be sufficient to advance depends on the strength of the other teams you are competing against. Here in Michigan you have a good chance of advancing if you can consistently reach more than half the max points, so 275, but we only compete with 9-11 year old kids. If your country’s teams are stronger you will need more points. As always the robot game is only part of FLL-C, so your performance in the innovation project presentation, robot design presentation and understanding of the core values have a bigger influence. Are your 315 or 400 points already including the inspection bonus and unused precision tokens? And where are you located, if you don’t mind us asking? ⚙️⚙️

Hello, The build instructions for the Spike Prime Advanced Driving Base (ADB) are included with the Spike App for programming the robot. Just go the the “Home” window, scroll down and click on “Building Instructions”. In that window there are instructions for “Advanced Driving Base Parts”, “Advanced Driving Base Assembly” and (a lot further down) “Tools”. Build the parts first, then use them to build the assembly. In “Tools” you will find instructions for the base versions of the “Lift Arm” and “Dozer Blade”. ⚙️⚙️
As you clearly were trying to make a joke, LOL. As we mentioned in the video it would be unwise to do this combination of M14 & M15 individually. It would be much better to collect the experts in combination with other missions and deliver the expert/audience members in combination with other missions. ⚙️⚙️

Hello. We have pointed out many times that the instructions for the Spike Prime Advanced Driving Base and the Liftarm and Dozer Blade attachment can be found in the Spike App. Any additional pieces shown in the video were just developed for inspirational purpose and don’t necessarily have to be exactly as shown in the video to work. Just have some fun experimenting with putting a few pieces together to make something you can attach or hook to the liftarm. Maybe you will even find a better way of solving the mission while you are at it and can impress the judges at the competition with your own unique attachment. ⚙️⚙️
